This is a great Italian family owned pizza place. Quality, fresh ingredients used to make amazing pizza! They are always friendly and provide great service be it pick up or delivery. I've been eating at this place for over three years and have never had a bad experience and always enjoyed the food, which is saying a lot since I'm a very picky eater! I've also never felt the need to provide a review for any restaurant, but they are that good! They are a little more expensive than major food chains, but that's because they have larger pizza sizes (no dinky 10' pizzas here) and great quality. They also have coupons when you order pick-up and even gave me an extra coupon they had when I forgot mine at home. Can't really eat in since this is a whole in the wall place and I think they only have one small table with two chairs, but you can actually watch your pizza get made and see the fresh...
Read moreFirst time visit based on the high review from others. Staff was friendly , pleasant and clearly appreciate their customers. Family own and operated for 40 years. Pizza was fast, reasonably priced and well cooked. However, sauce had no flavor, no spices of any kind. Very bland over all. The worst part was that the entire pizza was stuck to the cardboard box: every piece had to be pried off the cardboard with utensils. The pizza came out of the oven just before we picked it up, so it was not from a long wait after cooking. I was very disappointed. If you plan to get one, take it home and add some Italian spice and it will be better. Note that I do not care for really spicy food, so bland has to be VERY bland for me to comment on that. Just to give an idea of where I think they fall.....they are better than Dominos or little Caesars. Not as good as Jets. Buddy's is...
Read moreBeen eating this pizza all my life. The quality of the toppings is unmatched. Best pepperonis. Best anchovies I've ever had. Best mushrooms, olives, peppers, and everything else. I have nothing bad to say, really. After having this pizza, the poor qualities of big-name pies becomes apparent. It's a staple for those who know what a good pizza is.
I dig it with all the toppings. Except those mild yellow peppers. Those peppers ruin everything they touch. I've been warned by other franchises not to add more than 2 or 3 toppings because the pizza won't bake well (seriously). Not at Amico's. They know how to bake. So many toppings, I gotta eat it with a fork. Gimme that pie!
Get some. You...
