Annie's Family Restaurant & Bakery — Restaurant in Livonia

1/31/2025: Came here Friday morning close to opening time. Table was not clean, but it wasn't crazy dirty, so no big deal, I got some water and napkin and wiped it myself.

I got... I can't remember; its a special the waitress told me about that's not on the menu(its in the first pic) and only on certain days. On the date shown above its was only $7.99. Now, I've had better breakfasts than this, but for that price, and the quality of the food being "good", that is an amazing deal! The bacon was nicely crisp. Eggs could use a bit of internal salt(my preference), and hash didn't have enough crispy exterior to the softer interior, but was okay. Pancakes were soft and not tough, so thumbs up for that(can't expect melt-in-your-mouth buttermilk pancakes which is what i'm used to).

We have been regular customers of this restaurant for years. The food has never been good. The only meal that was decent is breakfast. We have spent close to $400.00 a month every month here. The server are very friendly and helpful. The cooks just cannot seem to get the meals right . But we have.been loyal customers for years because of the friendly service from the waitresses. Today the owner followed my wife outside and was extremely rude to her. He was complaining about out 11 month grandson making a mess on his floor. He told her to never come back. I will admit that our grandson is sort of a messy eater.anyone who has small children should be able to relate. This was the 2nd incident we had with this guy . The first time he complained about our granddaughter being messy. Anyone who runs a family restaurant should expect small children to make a mess. But the owner is not friendly to small children at all. We will be taking our $400.00 a month and spending it in a more friendly restaurant. My advice to anyone thinking about eating here should not bring any young children with you. Also try to keep your wife or lady friend from interacting with the owner. He is extremely rude and unfriendly. The friendly service you get from the waitresses is just not worth the low quality of the food and the the rude unfriendly owner. Do yourself a favor and avoid...

We had a doctor's appointment at Beaumont and had traveled over 2 1/2 hours yesterday so we decided to have lunch but where to go? We began looking for a nice restaurant because we wanted to go to a place that looked welcoming and clean. We saw and chose Annie's and knew right away we had made a great choice. As soon as we walked in we were friendly greeted in a welcoming way. Very quickly we were seated in a clean booth and then gave our order to a very nice waitress. Where we were seated we had a very clear view of the salad/soup bar. We have eaten in many places throughout the country and we know that a salad /soup bar can speak volumes about a restaurant. Not only was the bar beautifully displayed with yummy items but there wasn't a dripping soup pot or a low bowl of lettuce etc. or food on the ledge and one lady was constantly checking and cleaning....an A+ in our book. Our meal came and was delicious for a good price. Whether you are a local or from out of town please take a meal at Annie's you won't be...
