Cafe Au Lait — Restaurant in Livonia

I wanted to order the same thing a few times before giving a review.

The food is wildly inconsistent. We have ordered the bacon egg and cheese 4 different times over the span since open and have received 4 different products in different packaging

Sometimes the croissant is toasted. Sometimes it’s not

Sometimes you get cheese sometimes you don’t

Sometimes you get some special sauce other times you don’t

I think ownership needs to clearly decide what food offerings they have and make sure it’s consistent amongst all staff members.

Is the food bad? Absolutely not but I also order what is essentially a surprise every time. I’m giving a 3/5 because I’ve never been given the same thing twice.

Wonderful new cafe in the south Livonia area. We had the Café Nuage (sp?), which had café au lait blended with white chocolate and ginger. The balance was just right (which is important when using ginger), and the flavors blended beautifully. We also had an Almond Danish, which was a wonderful combination. There's plenty of other coffees to pick from, and the sweets range all the way from $1.25 cookies (the big kind) up to various pastries and cakes. First of all, the place is absoultely beautiful. They did an amazing job. Secondly, the people that run it are just as beautiful and loving. I work next door and order from here as often as I can. I tell everyone about it that will listen. I cant always wait for my stuff because im usually the only person working in my building, they make sure to tell me that they will happily walk it over. The coffee is top notch flavor and robust. The sandwiches (I've tried a breakfast and lunch one) are absoultely delicious. Fresh ingredients and made with love each time.
