I gave 3 stars because of the service. I am not sure about the food because I did not get a chance to try it. Before my work break started, I called in and made an order. When I went to pick it up, they said their power was out so they couldn't make one of my sides and replaced it with something else. Understandable. I asked if they can make the side now since I can eat while I wait for that, but they said no because the chefs are busy. Busy with other customers but my order is not important I suppose. So, I had to call another restaurant, drive again, and wait for my order all over again. By this point, my break is almost over and I barely have time to eat my food.
It would have been nice to call me once the power was back to let me know they couldn't make my side. If you are too busy to make my side then fine, but to also have me drive there? I wouldn't have wasted my time picking up an order I don't want. I could have used that time to make an order elsewhere and have time to finish my meal. Thanks to this incident I was hungry for the rest...
Read moreAbsolutely loved our experience at La Marsa! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting — just what you’d hope for in a Mediterranean dining spot.
We ordered the lemon oregano tawook, fried kibbe, vegetarian grape leaves, and grilled veggies, and every dish was delicious. The tawook was incredibly tender and packed with bright, zesty flavor from the lemon and oregano — perfectly grilled and juicy. The fried kibbe had a beautifully crispy exterior with a savory, well-seasoned filling. The grape leaves were a standout too — soft and flavorful, without being soggy or overly salty. And the grilled vegetables were fresh and full of chargrilled goodness.
One detail that really impressed us was the rice. Unlike so many other places in the area where it’s often overcooked or bland, La Marsa’s rice was light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about quality, even in the small things.
All around, La Marsa delivered a fantastic meal with great service and attention to detail. We’ll definitely...
Read moreMy first visit here was about 4 months ago, and I've been coming back a few times per month since then. Every meal I've had has been great -- the consistency between orders is very good.
I've tried: chicken shawarma entree, lentil soup, raw veggies appetizer, hummus, veggie grape leaves sandwich, rice pilaf, side of pickles. All were great. The chicken is tender. The soft warm pita breads that come out of the oven and their garlic sauce are addicting.
Prices are very affordable and I like the food portions. This is another reason I keep coming back.
I have only done carryout here, and the service has been on top of things. They are always friendly and welcoming. My order has always been ready when the website says it will be.
I will say when I first came, it was my first time trying La Marsa and I didn't realize there were other locations... but the food was good enough that it surprised me to find out...
