McDonald's — Restaurant in Livonia

I’ve been to many McDonald’s. This one is nice. They have redesigned it so the inside looks like a very nice restaurant. They missed the mark in a couple of spots, however. In most of the newly designed ones I have been in there is a dividing wall between the dining and serving area. In this case they had built some tables into the wall directly in the serving area. There was then an alcove of tables that I expected. It looks out on the play area. But don’t think you can let the kids go in there and expect that you can see them from the internal dining room. Not going to happen.

In any case they cut some holes in the wall between the dining alcove and the serving area. That’s okay unless there are diners on both sides in which case you get a full view of their table especially when they get up or sit down.

The drive in area was filled up all the way to the roadway. We were going in anyway so no big deal.

My personal experience here went like this :

My family ordered the staples – cheeseburgers, number 1, et cetera. I gave them a chance, for the first time, with a special order. A ‘sweet bacon’ chicken sandwich. That turned into an ordeal because I had to answer like 8 questions to get one sandwich, some fries and a cup to get my own drink. They produced all the food almost immediately including my ‘special made’ item – only it was wrong.

They took it back and said someone would bring out the new one. About ten minutes later I had to go to the counter and ask what was happening. I was told they were getting the crispy chicken ready. About 5 minutes later I got the sandwich. The cheese wasn’t melted and it looked like the whole thing had been slapped together.

On top of that the ice machine had no ice, drinks were out of order (with paper messages taped on the spouts announcing that), the garbage bins were overflowing and the floors had not been swept.

As I was leaving I noted five employees standing around having a chat with one of the cooks...

Go here everyday for a drink. Even use to work there at 14. However in the last 2 months approxiametly three times while sitting at the speaker the person(s) at the othrr speaker are waited on. Today was the end of that. Seeing as after waiting because the line was backed up and didnt move for 15 minutes. As soon as it did and i got to the speaker no one answered. After three more cars passed at the other speaker now. I decided to pull up in the line to get to the window. As soon as the car behind me pulled up to the speaker they answered right away. So when i asked for a free or discounted meal. Was told they can not do that. Also told the speaker has been having problems due to construction. Seems odd since the speaker opens the mic when a car pulls on to the weight plate, and i know my car is heavy enough and the person who pulled in the plate right after me was answerd. Secondly this has happend before the construction. In short i will have wasted 40 minutes of my life and will...

Very ghetto, food is mostly served cold , too much playing in the kitchen, I see weed pens and vapes being used in the kitchen and I find that very unprofessional and also my daughter worked there months ago and she told me how the mangers laugh at their co-workers , play favorites with the co-workers as in not being fair . I came in like last month as a costumer and I seen the workers laughing and whispering at a kid that had a disability and that was very disrespectful and that's not something to laugh about I honestly think this McDonald's should be shut down and I will be reporting the mangers for letting the workers do that. One of my close friends came to the drive thru and she's allergic to Cheese and she respectfully said no cheese and they decided to put it on there anyway and she asked to talk to the manager and he or she didn't come speak to her about the problem that was very rude and as manger if your customer ask to talk to you then you go and...
