Two Guys Pizza Pies — Restaurant in Livonia

Strike 3! There's a sign in the store that says "If you're happy with your order, tell others, if you're not, tell us." Well, this is the third time with "telling them" regarding issues and I get the strong impression they don't care. I ordered amongst other things a spinach and feta pizza on line. The order (#53) came to over $47 and when I got home, we got cheese bread instead of the pizza. After finally getting ahold of someone (their phone defaulted to "we are very busy, call tomorrow or order online) I was told they probably made an error and gave me the wrong item (Really?? Duh!) and after speaking to management, this guy comes back on and said they could either make a fresh pizza and I could pick it up OR I could get a credit for next time. I asked him for an apology and he didn't know what to do with that one. He put me back on hold to consult with "mgt again" and after several minutes came back and told me that "They" are extremely sorry and I was to use the "Credit" next time and promptly hung up the phone on me. Really?? This is your idea of customer service? Please tell me again why I should "tell US" as your sign says? I want to love this place, but as stated this is the 3rd incident and won't be going back. The last (2nd time) my order was lost or forgotten and it was 40 minutes AFTER my scheduled pick up time. Mind you, I am sitting in the store waiting for my food. Once again, NO APOLOGY! I understand busy, I understand staff issues but it sure doesn't take much to treat customers like they matter. On Saturday may 6th I ordered for two guys pizza pies and was very discouraged by their service. I ordered 4 items from them and the gal even repeated the order over the phone and she had it right. When I went to pickup the pizza they were missing one of the items which wasn't a big deal and I waited until they made that item for me. The young man checking me out never even apologized for it. I paid for the whole order which is expected. The discouraging part was that, while I was waiting, there was a gentlemen who came in for his order and he was 2 dollars shy. He attempted to use a couple credit cards to make the difference and they were declined. The young man checking him out just stared at him and pretty much said tough luck with his look. The gentlemen picking up looked extremely embarrassed. I was waiting for them to say it was ok and 2 dollars was not a big deal but they were waiting for him to find a way to get the money. I decided to offer him the 2 dollars instead out of kindness. I cannot believe in todays society that a local store like this is that hard up for 2 dollars and would not just write it off as a tiny loss. I will not support them again because they don't support their own community. Usually I love to support local businesses instead of the bigger corporations but unfortunately this left a bad taste in my mouth. One of the best pizza places in Livonia for sure love their old world pepperonis and the pizza and breadsticks are really good. Only place to get good grinders in Livonia that I have found if I absolutely had to nit pick something it would be that they need to get fresh lettuce more often when I get something with lettuce it will be part of the core or partially brown not every time but I’d say maybe half the time. I assume it’s because a pizza place doesn’t go through a lot of lettuce so maybe it sits in the prep tray? Either way sometimes it kinda messes up a perfect sandwich. Otherwise never had any complaints they are very consistent with everything else with fast delivery. Really I can’t think of another pizza place in Livonia I would say is better then two guys pizza. I’ve ordered since this review and the grinders have been cooked perfectly that and the owners response just show how committed they are reading the other reviews it’s hard to believe I’ve never had a bad experience here I think in the hundreds of times I’ve ordered they made a mistake one time and they brought the correct stuff...
