Update: After 9 days of negotiation and calls, finally received my refund, But I tell you what, after the manager (Callee?) told me that someone would be out to pick up the food and that she would refund my money and it would take 5-7 days, she did NONE of this. NO ACTION at all. It took several calls to Askar Brands and the Regional Manager to get action. After reading other reviews in Yelp and other reviews, this particular manager certainly has an issue with customers by hanging up on them and treating them poorly. How she's still a a manager is beyond comprehension. She deserves a big Negative - Zero stars. But I am sad, it is not the easiest of work for the best of income, however it is their actions that bring upon their own success.....or their own failure.
I have already contacted the Corporate Office in Commerce Township and they put me in touch with the Field Representative. Previous to that on when I talked to the rude manager, (who obviously for an unknown reason is still employed there despite numerous events with her history of hanging up on customers), I was told 8 days ago, and 2-3 days ago from the field rep that my refund would be in my account. To date, NO refund. I am beginning to believe NO ONE cares at this store or at Corporate. Why is this manager still employed when a history of total disrespect towards store customers? Why, when a customer has legitimate complaint, would she try and dismiss it by throwing the problem back at the customer? I ordered two simple pitas, both requested with mayo/extra mayo. #1-Received the order LATE. #2 -Both Pitas were dry, crispy, without any mayo, nor any mayo packets on the side. I called the store once, talked to a store employee and told him I would like for the driver to come back, pick up the non-consumed disgusting food and that I would like a refund. Not understanding I asked for the manager. #3 - She came to the phone, never introduced herself and I explained the situation over, again. I told her of my $100 order at the Commerce/Walled Lake store a week before or my family that was prepared well, followed all instructions and delivered promptly (even early. They couldn't get 2 pitas correct. Disgusted, she tersely stated she would have the driver come out and pick up the food then hung up on me. #4 - I called back asking about my refund and how that would happen, she put me on hold putting the phone down and I waited about 2 minutes as I heard her working and serving other customers - guess I wasn't important to her. She stated 5-7 days for the refund and I asked her for her name and finally got that as well. She tried to pin the blame on me stating "I disrespected her". She hung up on me the second time. My god, are you kidding me? If you can't handle a complaint, and NO WAY did I disrespect her, just something to make her feel good about her lousy attitude, she should really look for a job that really requires leadership and see how that goes. Obviously throwing back the problem to the customer is not good for future business or recommendations. Again, no refund to this date, and I finally had to throw the gross food out as they never came to pick it up. Just miserable all around. Read moreI dont usual make bad reviews because I know businesses have issues just like anyone else BUT i called to let them know there was an issue with my wings she asked how they looked i told her like someone bit them (not saying they did, but that was the only way to describe it) the owner then got on the phone and said “Nobody ate your food” “we dont touch the food” and i told her i didnt say anyone ate off of them thats just how they look and that im a customer so she should be able to accommodate me , she started being rude and said someone can come back and get the food i told her no not to send anyone back to my house and as im writing this they are at my front door , so unprofessional and I order from here alot due to convince , never again. Read more11/11/2020 Today is the 3rd time my online order did not go through according to the store. I called after 1 hour to check on my food and they said they didn't receive it but would get the information themselves. The store called me after another 30 mins to take my order over the phone since they couldn't retrieve the information themselves. I asked if there was a discount for waiting so long and the mistakes, the manger of the store said no because it was the computers fault and not theirs. When I asked the person taking my order the managers name she hung up on me. Turns out the managers name is Kaylee. When my order arrived it was incorrect, but the WONDERFUL delivery guy ran back to the store in record time...
