I got my computer fixed yesterday. My experience at the shop was good. It's a one-person shop, and while the owner's attitude was ok and terrible and not helpful at the same time. When I went there, I asked for a quote, and they provided some details. I wanted to understand why my computer had lost its OS. But, they just quoted me about $80 for the OS installation and $40 for the diagnosis fee. Although the overall experience was good, the employee's unhelpful attitude was disappointing. Despite the shop's high ratings, I would only give it 2 out of 5 stars due to the poor attitude I encountered. They reinstalled my operating system, which cost me about $160, including about $80 hard drive replacement in total. My main complaint is about the attitude and the lack of detailed information provided. The employee seemed either unprofessional or unwilling to help me understand what was wrong with my hard drive. My hard drive had some issues, and the employee mentioned that it happens all the time and is common. I wanted to recover data from my bad hard drive and understand the error codes the employee had printed out. However, he refused to explain the codes and implied me that I was worrying too much. He said he didn't want to waste his time explaining each code, which made me feel frustrated. If he didn't know the answers, he could have just told me instead of acting like it was a waste of his time. Overall, the repair was done, and my computer is working fine now, but the poor attitude of the employee made the experience unpleasant a little.
