Small, unassuming place, but had a kind young woman who made recommendations (which we took!) and made us feel welcome even an hour before closing. I cannot pronounce the dishes we had, but they arrived quickly and hot. Everything was very flavorful and well-prepared. I was very pleased with the steaming broth-y meal on a chilly evening. Two small notes:
We went there for dinner last night for my birthday. I hadn't been to a Thai restaurant in many years. My husband and son had never tried it. We loved our dinner. The chicken satay appetizer was yummy, and not too much. Just enough for the three of us and not spoil our appetite. My son got the chicken teriyake because he doesn't like things too spicy. I got the Panang "secret curry" and my husband got the Pad Kee Mow "Drunk man noodles". Everything was yummy! Try the cheese tea. I know it sounds weird, but it is really good, and sweet! And the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is a "strip mall" diner atmosphere. If they can over the next few years give it a more realistic Thai restaurant atmosphere, I would give it 5 stars! Can't...
Read moreFirst time here and ordered pickup. Had the crab Rangoon and thai red curry.
Crab rangoon was tasty, probably the best in the area I have had. I read a review they are on the smaller side but I think they are appropriately sized: 4 in an order.
Red curry was also really good. Knife cuts on the veggies were a tiny bit too big but the flavors were delicious. The menu says mildly spicy but I think it was more on the medium side. I spoke to a woman at the restaurant who was eating and she told me her dish was a bit spicy as well. Make sure you indicate mild if it’s a problem for you.
When I walked in the restaurant is small, cozy and nice decorated and lit. I will definitely be back and to visit and also this will be my new local Thai place.
So glad lockport is expanding...
