The Donut Shop — Restaurant in Lockport

I was at All Pets having my Pupper Man get his annual check-up. We just happened to pass by. Now, I've tried my share of local donuts. Rolling Donuts, Home Cut, Donut Den. I've tried them all. But, listen to me when I say, this place is unassuming. .

The typical SIGN doesn't tell you that the raspberry filling inhabiting their donuts is the BESTEST jelly you will ever have erupt in your mouth this side of the Mississippi.

The blasé BUILDING in the middle of a drive-through TOWN, doesn't tell you they serve perfectly airy and cakey, chocolate, donut holes gifted straight from the Gods.

NOR does the run-of-the-mill, lit, donut racks, surrounded by an immaculate looking dining area, tell you a single SECRET, about their sour cream precious gem of a donut, so delicious in its nuisanced cinnamon apple spiced perfection that's replete with its fried Elysian field edges. A donut so perfect, I'd let someone propose to me with it.

Nothing about ANYTHING screams that it holds the secrets to donut euphoria, like Zues himself holds thunderbolts, but it's here. It's all here, and it's all so...

Ok. DD is just...meh. I think we all know this. Yesterday, I picked up an order of 5 dozen for my staff and they were absolutely gone, not even a crumb was left. 5 dozen mixed, all gone. The front desk was nice enough to box peanut and coconut separately. Very accommodating. And on short notice too. I called ten minutes before they closed the previous day and they said it would be no problem.

This store is probably the happiest place in Lockport, I mean really. Walking in, your eyes will light up like a little kid with the amount of color and brightness that you will see. You can't help but smile a bit looking at the donuts and talking with the lady. For people to be that cheerful at 6:30 am is rare!

You will want to taste everything that you see. This place is overflowing with happiness and you will not regret coming here for a box. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices.

Sorry for my delayed post. Every Friday my daughter’s babysitter brings in a few of the kids she sits for. It was Valentine’s Day and they were sold out basically by the time she was able to bring the kids in- mostly toddlers who wouldn’t understand. She was shocked! Just then the cashier takes out a half dozen donuts she saved for her and the kids. This Is the kind of service you don’t see any anymore the small business will always have my business. Not only do they have great baked goods and coffee they actually care. Thank you for taking care of our kids...
