Nation's Giant Hamburgers & Great Pies — Restaurant in Lodi

So, so, so NOT SO GOOD!

Eggs over easy arrived nearly burnt to a crisp and dangling sloppily off the edge of my plate. My hash browns that tasted like nothing but 2-week-old cooking grease and loaded up with excessive salt -- loads of ketchup and hot sauce could not hide the objectionable taste.

(What I most like about the other Nation's restaurants is that I don't need to add anything to my hash browns except perhaps a little pepper. Potatoes should taste like potatoes. Not only was I put off by the gross flavor of the hash browns prepared at the Lodi location, I was deeply disappointed not to be able to enjoy what is normally a very enjoyable taste.)

My hamburger patty was as dry as beef jerky.

I've been getting late night meals at Nations since at least 1995. One of the things that makes this place seem so bad is that all of the other ones are so very good. I'm a Rideshare driver and I've eaten at ALL of the Nations restaurants between North Sacramento and Modesto, including one or two locations that are now closed. If you look, you will find that all of my other mentions about this restaurant chain have been exceedingly positive.

I mostly drive in the San Francisco Bay area, and I have probably eaten at 15 different Nation's restaurants in that region. I had very little interaction with the staff but they seemed quite nice, but apparently misguided.

Management had better get here pretty quickly and turn this place around, or somebody's going to be making apologies for wasting what's most likely at least a quarter million dollar investment.

Oh... There was a terribly loud "alarm" sound that went off continuously. It was as loud as a commercial burglar alarm. I thought it was a rude customer's cell phone going off. It turns out it was coming from...

Let me start off by saying we were super excited Nations is in Lodi..I ordered two combos the bacon cheeseburger and a cheeseburger combo..got home and the hamburger Meat was missing from the bacon cheeseburger and No Dressing Sauce in either burger?? Drove all the way back with my burgers..they saw them and remade them..I asked please make sure you put extra sauce because husband loves the sauce. I heard The manager Tiffany tell them to put extra sauce.. I felt bad like I was getting them in trouble but seriously a burger with No meat or sauce!! Literally I got home and we had meat No SAUCE !! only mayo???? I think they hate me!! And I was nice when I went back...Needless to say hubby was irritated two trips and still wrong??? I guess it's partly my fault for not checking but I didn't think they would screw up TWICE!! I GUESS...

10 out of 10 It may be hunger talking or that this place is just amazing! Everything we had was delicious. I ordered the sliders which is a perfect bite size burger, it comes with two. I also ordered the chili cheese fries which came on a good size plate. If you’re hungry for more, my other half ordered the cheese burger with a side of onion rings and a Oreo shake. You can do add ons to the burger with no cost, such as grilled onions and pickled jalapeños. It makes this next level. While we were eating the wonderful employees offered samples of the pies, we had a sample of the custard and the berry pie, both of which tasted like mamas homemade pies.
