Ocean Crab — Restaurant in Lodi

I was excited to check this place out and was glad it did not disappoint. The shrimp po boy was really good with boom boom and tater sauce, the fries that came with it were crunchy and delicious. We also had 2 orders of shrimp, one head on the other headless. Both with all the seasonings and one hot while the other was extra hot. The flavor and seasoning was really good but the extra hot was head over heels more flavorful then the hot. It wasn’t that spicy either so don’t be afraid to give it a go. Try a half pound to see if you can handle it, I highly recommend it. I was extremely surprised and happy that 1 piece of corn and 1 potato are already included in the boil and isn’t an add on. I will knock a star off for 3 reasons, first the head on shrimp was overcooked, which is an error that can be corrected so we’ll definitely give them the benefit of the doubt. The headless shrimp was cooked perfectly. Second reason was they have no Sparkling water (Soda Water, Club Soda). And finally they had no limes, I was able to request lemons though. We stopped at this place on the way home from a business trip. It was a little far from the freeway, but it was totally worth the drive. We walked in and were immediately greeted and sat down right away. The decor is really nice. There was a cute beach chair and palm tree in the front when you walked in. A big lobster and crab hanging on the walls and water type wallpaper made it feel like you were at the ocean or beach. We ordered a combo with snowcrab and 1lb shrimp, and it also came with a corn, potato, and an egg. Got the works, all spices, and seasonings. They also provided a bucket, Bibs, and gloves! Very much appreciated the gloves. We also ordered fried oysters. Food came out hot. Oysters were like fried oysters, which are always when you ordered them at any other place. Battered and fried to a slight crisp and not dry or oily. It tasted pretty good. The crab and shrimp were delicious! There were no heads on the shrimp, which I like, but that's okay. It had lots of garlic and seasonings. I would recommend this place if you love seafood and have an appetite. Plus, the service was fantastic. The waiter kept checking in on us, which I love. I had seen online that Lodi was having a new restaurant open and tonight I decided to try it and I'm so glad I did!!!!! When I saw the menu I couldn't believe it because the prices were so affordable!!!! We ordered a bunch of things to try a variety off the menu and let me say we weren't disappointed. The catfish was crispy and delicious with so much fries (they don't skimp) the chicken tenders were delicious and a good size portion... We also got the appetizer to try a bunch of different things and everything was fried to perfection season to perfection not burnt and just full of flavor. I suggest anybody driving by definitely stop whether it's to go or to dine in it's going to be...
