Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Lodi

We were buying ices in quart containers,cherry specifically.The cost for this is on the high side.Unfortunately,the quality of the product has been all over the map. We got one batch home and the product was pink and watery no discernable flavor at all.The gentleman said "Oh,the flavor will be there.The hell it was.It was watery and horrible.They did replace those.Lastly,we received 2 quarts that were totally offtasting,like they hadn't cleaned the machines between flavors,again the guy says it's us.He knows the product is good.Baloney,! We don't appreciate the poor quality control and we don't appreciate being told it's us and not the product.This is a lot of money and there are serious problems at this Ritas.We're through with this one and perhaps all Ritas because of poor...

Great gelato ice cream, little over priced but the girl who must be the manager during the opening shift 12 pm during the week is extremely rude not the least bit friendly, My co workers and I think she needs a different job, she is one unhappy camper! Shouldn't treat her customers that way, we went back only because we liked the gelato and again she had the personality of glue.... a tip for her- find another job or start changing your attitude ya know children...

If you’re craving soup on a hot summer day, come to Rita’s! The consistency of their custard is so poor that it will remind you of your grandmother’s favorite chicken noodle recipe!

If you ask the employees about it, they’ll tell you that “its hot out.” Aren’t they observant? I guess the owner doesn’t believe in making PSEG wealthy or him/herself rather; considering the fact that their store is so hot it “melts the products.”
