This is a 3-star review and not a 1-star review because Kaydence deserves 5 stars herself. To preface; I ordered through the drive-thru around 1:00pm during my 30 minute lunch break and had a one-star experience. I paid for my food and was instructed by the gentleman who took my order to pull around and wait out front; I wasn't told however that one item on my order would take +/- 15 minutes to be prepared. When I finally walked in and asked if it would be done soon, I was told it would be longer because of the chicken I ordered. Had I known it would take so long, I would've changed it, but I had to go back to work. I asked for a refund and was told by the same gentleman, "we're not obligated to refund you." That was really irritating. And as that is being said, and as I voiced some irritation by that, my chicken was finished and I was given the food. I left pretty upset, wasn't able to eat 90% of my order, and...the chicken was half burnt.
So, around 7:00pm after work, I came back with the food to try and get a refund, and/or for things to be made right in some way, and talked with Kaydence. She was outstanding. As I said before, she deserves 5 stars herself, and is the only reason this review is 3 stars and not 1 star. She gave exceptional customer service, listened to what had happened, and didn't hesitate to give me a refund. I have no idea why this couldn't have happened earlier in the day, but I appreciated the service she provided me. I hope the owner and/or management of this Carl's Jr. recognizes that her customer service as the only reason this location didn't receive a 1 star review and lose a customer...
Read moreI haven’t tasted the food yet but I am worried that I might die of starvation before that happens. While waiting here, I have come up with some reasons as why this is happening and some possible solutions to help with the line in the future. There are three possible situations as to why I am in the drive through this long. 1st, the three cars in front of me ordered food enough to cater a wedding or some sort of church event. 2nd, Carl Sr. Is trying to let Carl Jr prove himself by manning the restaurant by himself. 3rd, the staff overprepared the Green Burrito food and unexpectedly, nobody wanted Mexican food from a fast food Burger place.
The reasons why the line is long and takes forever are irrelevant though at this point. Carl’s Jr., I have some ideas that might make the system much more enjoyable. They could offer a bread basket to enjoy while waiting or a deli line situation where you take a number and then you wait for your number to be called out. They could also deploy a conveyor belt that brings food out to the people who just ordered one small burger instead of an SUV full or orders.
Update: I made it to the drive thru window. I was extremely famished so it took all that i had to say, “thank you.” Guess what? They just looked at me like heathens! When I said the same thing at Chick-fil-A, those angels responded with a very polite, “my pleasure.”
Hopefully the owners of the franchise, see my big ideas and hire me to rollout the new drive...
Read moreI am about to do something very strange and give a big ole 5 stars to this Carl’s Jr. location. Shortly after the BYU (the only thing gross about this review) vs USU game the town flooded with people trying to get food. People lined up and down the streets trying to make it through the line before this sleepy town shuts down. We drove from the north end to the south. Hoping to get Taco Bell. But alas, the line was too long. So we swung over to Carl’s Jr. normally I don’t want Carl’s Jr., but it was our only option. The line wasn’t horribly long, so we hopped on in.
When we made it up (really quick by the way) the gal told us we were the last ones to be served, but would take our order.
We then saw them continue to serve most everyone else in line well past closing.
There were only a few workers, it sounds like the manager didn’t realize tonight was full of football games across the valley. Even with being understaffed everything was PERFECT. I mean, I have been sleeping on Carl’s Jr.
So thanks to the two ladies working tonight. You stayed positive and kind and really helped us out with our late...
