Rumbi Island Grill — Restaurant in Logan

They won't let me give a negative 5 which is how disappointed I was last night at Rumbi's. 1st off there were plenty of cleared off tables but it was like they wiped them off onto the chairs. Food all over the seats. What a pig pen! When they brought our meals, the fry sauce containers were small. I asked for extra sauce and they wanted to charge 54 cents for extra sauce. Are you kidding me? Who charges for extra fry sauce? I recommend 5 Guys, all the fry sauce you can eat at no extra charge just up the street. For as much as Rumbi charges for a sandwich, fries, and a drink, you just paid for a meal at Chuckarama, and again, all the fry sauce you want, (all the everything you want). I use to rave about Rumbi's Island chicken sandwich, but no more. The tomato and pineapple slices were so thin you couldn't even tell you had any. The chicken was almost as tough as shoe leather and about as tasteless. As usual, I asked for the Jamaican jerk sauce. When it didn't come with it I asked why? They said they put it on the sandwich. Another cost cutting change at Rumbis? These cheapskates have totally lost me as a customer. I'll never go back. I tried to talk to the manager after about my disappointments and it was like she could care less which is probably why the place was a mess. Those people could...

Literally one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. We had 3 simple orders: veggies and tofu on brown rice with sauce on the side, to-go. We paid for it and when they brought it out to us, they told us they didn't have any more tofu so they used chicken instead. They refused to refund us our money and didn't tell us before we paid that they didn't have any tofu. Then, they pretended not to speak English. When we spoke back to them in their language so that they could understand us, they pointed at the door and told us to leave (in English).

I'm not strictly vegetarian and none of us are vegan, but what if we had medical conditions that required a strict vegetarian diet? What if eating meat was something we could not do for religious purposes? You're going to not tell us that you're out of what we ordered, substitute it with something we don't want, not tell us until AFTER we've paid, and then refuse to refund us our money?

This place is ridiculous. 12/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

You want your rice seasoned? Why would we put seasoning on a peasants dish? Extra. Sauce? Extra. Vegetables? Extra. Am I really paying $10 for a bowl of white rice with a couple strips of meat on top (which, coincidentally were extra because I got the steak)? Food wasn't hot and there wasn't enough to fill up. I lived with a Tahitian for 3 months and gained 15 lbs (every meal he made was massive, and he insisted on cooking) so I was expecting lots of food. I got a plastic bowl that couldn't bother to be filled, nowhere near enough meat and veggies, and an inadequately small drizzle of sauce resulting in mostly flavorless white rice, and ended up having to purchase more food for my wife and I at nearby fast food. In the end this meal cost more than an actual restaurant. What a waste of money. Go to Panda Express, Cafe Rio, or Costa Vida. They'll give you a meal for your money while offering a similar...
