Oh brother where to start... First off, the company of Wyndham states clearly in their policy that they are required to provide a safe and sanitary environment. They did neither. They also state that if an individual is bitten by a bed bug they are immediately eligible for a complete refund. There have been many individuals who have stayed at this hotel who have mentioned bed bugs and other things in their reviews. My boyfriend and I made the mistake not to read reviews before we booked our stay and I highly encourage everyone to scroll through before making the same mistake we did. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days around Halloween and instantly issues began to arise. The room we were originally given had a faulty lock resulting in the key not being able to work. When we went down to let the man at the desk know, we were given dirty looks and were made to feel as if we were annoying him or that it was our fault. The floor of our room was disgusting from previous visitors. There was white stuff all over the carpet (I don't even WANT to know) and the paint was peeling in places seemingly from some sort of water damage. The curtain rod in the bathroom looked as if it had been ripped off and just placed back loosely in the holes. There was also black mold in the tub around a large majority of the inner perimeter. A few nights into our stay, we woke up to a bed bug on one of our pillows. We then realized that we both had bites on our backs and immediately packed our things and went down to the desk where the man refused to see our photo of the bug and provided next to no understanding of what the possibilities are for reimbursement. We were very civil despite our frustrations but he seemed to be irritated by our presence. He said he would make a note for the inspectors to come by so they can "verify" that there are bed bugs. Today we called Super 8 and told the woman what had happened and asked if she could check to ensure that a note really was made for the pest inspector to come by and check the room (again, we were very civil) and she was very rude and seemed irritated that we were calling. She proceeded to tell us that she was busy and needed to finish what she was doing because it was more important. She said that she would call us back when she was finished. Needless to say she did not. I am not completely sure what needs to happen for Super 8 in Logan to recognize the violations they are making so regularly. This place is not safe; nor is It sanitary to any extent. Please...

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Super 8 hotel in Logan, Utah, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. From the frustrating check-in encounter to the numerous maintenance issues, this hotel left a lot to be desired.
Upon arriving at the hotel, I requested an early check-in, but the employee's response was unwelcoming and short. She seemed frustrated and informed me that all the rooms were dirty until 3pm. Her rigid insistence that no rooms would be clean until the exact designated time was disheartening.
Later in the evening, when we returned to check-in at around 5pm, I was surprised to find a completely different attitude from the employee. She was actually friendly, which contrasted sharply with my initial encounter. While it's good that her demeanor improved, consistency in customer service is essential for a pleasant experience.
The room itself had several maintenance issues. The electrical outlets were broken, making it difficult to charge my phone and computer. The desk chair was also broken, which compromised comfort and functionality. Moreover, the shower curtain rod was falling, and the furniture showed signs of damage. The chair and ottoman appeared dirty, creating an uninviting atmosphere. Additionally, there was a persistent and peculiar smell throughout the hotel, which was rather off-putting.
Furthermore, the room had odd yellow spots on the bathroom ceiling, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness and maintenance. Although the AC worked well, it emitted an excessive amount of noise, which disrupted relaxation. The thin walls failed to provide sufficient soundproofing, as neighboring activities were easily heard, further diminishing the overall tranquility.
Another aspect that disappointed me was the state of the hotel's breakfast options. The limited choices comprised waffles, toast, oatmeal, or cold cereal. Unfortunately, there were no healthier alternatives available, which is essential for those seeking nutritious options.
In summary, my stay at the Super 8 hotel in Logan, Utah, was marred by a frustrating check-in experience, multiple maintenance issues, a peculiar smell, and inadequate breakfast choices. While the employee's attitude improved later, it did not make up for the initial poor service. Given the state of the facilities and amenities, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend this...
Read moreIt was horrible! We walked into a room that was smelly and felt like it was about 85°. We immediately went down the 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) and let the gal know. She said she would move us to another room the next day as soon as she had one available. We had asked for the first floor because I had just had total knee replacement on both knees and the stairs were very difficult for me. She said it wasn’t going to be a problem. We finally decided we were going to watch some TV for a little while because we couldn’t go to sleep because of the heat and the TV wasn’t working. We called downstairs and apparently the managers son came up to fix the TV and the kid just complained about the remote not working the whole time and that he did not know how to fix anything. He was so frustrated. He just kept saying I don’t know what’s wrong with it. I don’t know what’s wrong with it. After messing around with it for about 15 minutes, my husband looked and found out that the cords weren’t even plugged into the TV correctly or the wall. The next morning we went down and talked to her again. She came up with excuses of why she couldn’t give us another room, but said she would keep trying. On the third night we went down again to talk to the guy at the front desk. He asked if he could go up and check the AC. My husband went up with him and about 10 minutes later he came down and it was fixed. He said that the filter had not been cleaned for a long time and it was disgusting. My husband also showed him the food wrapper under the bed and the broken casters on the chair. We asked if we could talk to the manager to find out if we could get the room discounted but was told that he is not available for contact on weekends. The only time we were cooled off was going to the pool… which didn’t look anything like the pictures that are on the website. We had to ask for towels, two nights in a row and the lady acted like we were pulling her teeth to get them. The only highlight of this entire stay was Brock who came up and fixed the AC on the last night we were there. Very disappointed in Wyndham Super 8 in Logan. We question whether to ever stay at a Wyndham Hotel anywhere! Thank you Brock! The rest of the staff needs...
