Chef Moe's on Main — Restaurant in Logan

I can’t really say anything about the food because we didn’t get a chance to eat. We went in for the Sunday morning brunch. We took our four year-old grandson and we alerted him that when we went in there that it was a buffet and that he was not allowed to be helpful during that time that we would take a plate and he could tell us what he wanted on it, but he was not allowed to be touching around the food. I got his food, took it back to the table where his papa was waiting. I returned to go back and get my food. And when I went in there, there was a lady there that apparently worked there that had her two kids there at a table, and when I went into the area where the food was her two children were playing in the syrup, sticking their fingers in the syrup, licking it and putting the fingers back in and continue to lick Again, as her mother is standing there watching this, she turns around and sees me and then she tries to address what they’re doing, but they had already done it several times and who knows what they had done before we even got there. I was absolutely disgusted. Who knows what those kids have been doing before we even arrived there this morning and how many people ate there with those kids putting their hands and everything I told her that it was absolutely ridiculous for her, allowing her kids to do that and that it was disgusting. I turned around and walked away and went back to the table where my husband was and explained to him what was going on. He said let’s go. what’s the waitress that was helping us know that we were leaving and the reason why we were leaving That was our first time Chef Moes and I will be honest, we will never return again. I feel like this has been an ongoing issue if those children have been in that establishment. Like I said, I believe that mother worked there and she was Allowing her kids to do whatever they wanted. I’m very sorry to have to write this post, but I want to alert people that this is what is going on there and if those kids are allowed to be there like that , their hands are in everything. A friend and I stopped in for lunch for the first time, and decided to try the soup, salad, and dessert buffet. It’s only 10 bucks! The tomato Parmesan soup was delicious, and the salad bar was not only full of fresh toppings, but it also included some fruit, and good homemade chicken and tuna salad, as well as some other cold sides. Really liked the salads! The desserts, however, we weren’t really impressed with, sorry to say. There was a lot to choose from so we sampled a variety, but unfortunately, we just didn’t care for any of them enough to finish them. Not saying other people wouldn’t enjoy them! Personally, I feel if they improved the desserts and actually offered a smaller selection, it would be fantastic! Even smaller cookies instead of ginormous ones would make more sense on a buffet… Sweet tea was fresh and perfectly sweetened! Service was very friendly! A very cool, literally hidden gem in the basement of a bank! What? We will definitely come back and try something from the menu next time! The food coming out of the kitchen...

Everything we got was burnt, besides the steak which looked like it was put on the grill just enough to get marks on it, but not actually cook the inside. They took it back, and it seemed like it was just stuck in the microwave. The steak tasted foul anyways, so we didn’t even eat it. The only thing that was seasoned and actually decent, was the “fricken chicken” that I got.

My 1 year old son wouldn’t even eat the food, and he eats everything😭. I’m extremely disappointed. I don’t know if they got new cooks or what, but everyone always raves about this place to us so we were very disappointed when our food came out like that.

We are not the type of people to leave bad reviews or even really complain about food, but when we spend almost 70$ on a meal so we don’t have to cook, and only eat a few fries, pretzel bites (which were also burnt), and a baked potato, we are pretty upset. And I still have to go home and cook anyways.
