China's Best Buffet — Restaurant in Logansport

So I would love to start this off by saying the reviews of this restaurant have greatly misdirected me about this restaurant.

So actually very clean on the inside and a quiet atmosphere. It’s also nicely lit on the inside and I feel like I can see no problem.

The buffet area was also quite clean. Now I wouldn’t say the food was cold however it wasn’t sweating from being fresh. Despite that the fast of everything was very good. And I personally loved their take on the honey chicken. Also you must try their beef and broccoli dish because the meat was very tender. Another thing I absolutely must mention about their food is the crunchy noodles ARE NOT stale. Unlike the other Chinese restaurant across the street of this place, their noodles had a satisfying crunch to it. I am very thankful for that.

As for the service we were greeted right when we came in the door but did not exchange more words other than “sign here” and “thank you” Nothing that I would lower my rating for to be honest. Very polite and straight to the point.

In conclusion I truly think more people should give this a try because I would rank this number two in the Asian food category for Logansport. If the reviews are the reason you have not went yourself yet, take this as a sign to just go there. Very worth it and will come here more.

We love this place, they are often on vacation and never update the site to reflect as much however the trick osnto call in to see if they are open. Before you go! The family that owns it are friendly, kind and prepare great food. It's always clean. Just went through a remodel. The portions are pretty big, especially the rice and noodles, it always seems we take a huge amount out of the boxes, and it resells to refill itself!?! Mayne that is all rice though huh? Lol 😆 Any-who! Combo fried rice is THE BEST! So are the pot stickers. Egg rolls used to be better before, idk what they changed in them but the past year or so, all you taste is cabbage 😔 and I love cabbage but I used to think they had the BEST egg rolls everrrrrr! Why did they change them!? 😪 Not much more I can say about this place, it's good food, you get large portions and they have not really increased prices like everywhere else! You get a lot of food for a decent price! Parking outside, well it's down town so ? Need I say more? Side street parking on a busy road. It is a one way though so that helps a LOT! I hope we keep them in the community for years to come, definitely a staple for logansport! If Google reminds me next time I'm there, I will upload video and pics!...

ABSOLUTELY disgusting. We walked in and were the only ones. This should have told us something. When we got our “food” it was cold, did not even looo appetizing, and there were gnats all around the drink machine. I did not enjoy anything I ate. I finally had enough when I bit into a crab Rangoon and it was so SPOILED that I wanted to puke!! I immediately told my family to stop eating and asked for a refund. To which the “manager” argued with me. He grabbed a crab Rangoon off of the buffet with his BARE HANDS did not use tongs. Then he took a bite. He said it’s good it’s fine. Then he immediately walked to the trash can and threw it away. I asked him why he threw it away if it was good? He had no response. They continued to argue with me about a refund so I called my bank to dispute the transaction. I will be calling the health department. This place is absolutely horrendous and should not be allowed to be open another second. I’m just glad my son wasn’t with me this time because he would’ve gotten sick!!!! What a disgrace!
