The Lin's — Restaurant in Logansport

The atmosphere here is excellent. Everything seems very modern and clean. It appears to be new construction or just a really good overhaul. This place looks awesome. It is very clean. The vibes here are great. Kid friendly and staff are great. The food is as good as I have had. More on the food. I haven’t tried everything but from the looks and what I have tasted it all looks really fresh and was as good as any other buffets I have had. The selection is a bit smaller than other places but it looks like it is so they can focus on having what they do have fresh and well made. The staff was super nice and very helpful. They helped me find what I needed and talked to me and was a really good conversation that can have an affect on your day. Overall I would suggest this over other options in the area. Terrible experience, we got a buffet to go, they gave us a little plastic container that you would get when you order an entree . They got mad at us for using their little condiment cups for jello and oranges and the woman started screaming at me "too much, too much". I said if I was eating here I would make several trips to the buffet and she just kept screaming "too much, too much" and I told her you didn't give us a container for salads and fruit and all she would do is scream "too much, too much" and then the guy who runs register took my friend's bag and opened it and told her the cup was for a drink not crab rangoon. He was hateful and rude! Worst place I have ever been to. RIDICULOUS and it cost $9.62 for that little container. They will never get a dime of my money ever again and they had hot dog kabobs on the buffet with a sign that said it was Chicken...

Restaurant Review: The Lins

I am beyond disappointed with my recent experience at The Lins. We paid $40 for our meal, and it was a complete letdown. The fries were cold, the rice was dry and unappetizing, and the shrimp was served cold as well. When we approached the owner for a refund, he completely freaked out, yelling and demonstrating a bad attitude.

We asked for three to-go boxes for our leftovers since there were three of us, but he insisted on giving us just one. Frustrated, we felt we couldn't leave without making sure we got our money's worth. We even called the cops, hoping they could mediate, but he continued to come up with poor excuses.

We've dined here before and had a great experience, but this visit was a total disaster. I wouldn't recommend The Lins based on...
