The most unprofessional establishment I have ever ordered from. I placed a delivery order on FIVE GUYS website at 7:22pm. By 8:12 I still hadn’t received the order . I called, store employee tells me my food was picked up and on the way. I called back at 8:30 because I still hadn’t received my food. I ask to speak to a manager. Store employee (same one) takes down my name and number and says he doesn’t have time to talk right now, he will call you back later today. It’s 8:30pm, they close at 10. How much of today is left? Mind you I have no food. I explained to the store employee that I needed to speak to the manager now because at this point I want a refund . Manager gets on the phone , he says and I quote “do you want to come get the food today or tomorrow ?” Please tell me why I would want to come get the food I ordered for myself tonight , tomorrow ? I didn’t come and get it in the first place hence the delivery I selected. I said please refund me. He says oh you have to come to the store and get a refund . Make that make sense ! I ordered online, they took my money online but I have to drive to get my refund. I told him that was ridiculous and I would dispute it. He told me to do what I had to do. I then decided to call the corporate number , explained the situation, and she told me that was extremely false, apologized, and low and behold refunded me. I remembered the impression I had the very first time I visited the store years ago, but I was willing to give it a try again as my friend wanted to go there tonight. When I arrived at the store, the first thing I had to do was understand the prices for the burgers were not for a meal, but the burgers themselves. WOW! THIS PLACE IS RIDICULOUSLY HIGH! I decided since I was here, I might as well get what I want. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, a Hotdog and a cup of water. My friend ordered a cheeseburger, fries and a medium drink. Our total came to freakin' $28! Twenty eight dollars! When the food arrived, it was in grease-stained bags and was the worst cheeseburger I have ever eaten. The grease was just dripping off the burger and into the wrapper, then onto the napkin I had placed on the table under the wrapper. After the first few bites, the taste and texture of the burger nearly literally made me nauseated. I then tasted the hot dog and found I've eaten better ones off the roller aisle at Quick Trip. The order was made incorrectly, burgers had the wrong toppings and were missing the bacon, etc. I called the store to report it and the employee told me to come by the following evening to have the order remade at no cost. I am here now for the remake and the shift manager is disrespectful. She states “Oh she is here all the time trying to get free food. I see her all time, I know who she is. Last time it was her fries that were messed up. She just wants free food but I guess I will make it”. First of all, I eat at this location both dine in and carry out frequently. The only other occasion with the fries was months ago and the fries were undercooked and raw. I didn’t ask for free food during that instance. I entered feedback online and a manager called me and offered me the order to be redone. I only call when the food is actually incorrect and this is only the 2nd time in months. Five guys is expensive and I don’t expect to pay for food that is incorrect, missing items, and poor quality. A shift manager should not be making comments like that in front of a customer.
