IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER We are all consumers & appreciate the labor intense acts to produce a product worth selling but not interested in this excuse to push your nasty demeanor under the carpet. People pay for what they wish to get but don't travel behind the scenes into the kitchen as our motive is to come into an establishment, be properly greeted, & to get quality food which we do pay for inclusive of the ingredients used. You're pushing your work stress onto the customer & we are trying to escape stress many times through a good meal. I expect for the foods I buy to be treated with the utmost care whether it's at your establishment, McDonalds, Ray's In The City, Chops, St. Cecelia, Marcels, Capital Grille, Bones, Chops & many other restaurants I & my family/friends frequent. We are selective in what we consume but don't want to hear about the functions of each eateries kitchen which is added stress to the consumer. What you shared is something designed for an internal team meeting. I paid the $2.00 for extra dressings but your nasty demeanor is unacceptable & I'm seeing in your reviews that there are more people complaining about not feeling welcomed which means that you need to "EQUALLY" put your passion from grinding & kneading into your inner being & learn not to be a nasty individual which is exactly what I experienced. Your response is also generic. If I read in a review that someone had a loss in their family, I would have offered my condolences as opposed to blessings in finding a new healthy option for our food preferences. I will leave you with something that "may" put your mindset and attitude on the correct path. Ephesians 4:31 "Put away from yourselves every kind of malicious bitterness, anger, wrath, screaming, and abusive speech, as well as everything injurious". Blessings to you! 🙏🏻
I used to be a regular until Friday when I walked in and ordered the Cobb Salad. Eden who is a beautiful soul inside and out took my order. I requested additional dressing because I knew it would come in tiny containers and when we pay for our food we expect a good experience. Eden had to ask the owner about extra dressing. The owner (I forgot the name because my mind was busy after the loss of a dear family member the same day) came to the register with a nasty and putrid attitude and sharp tongue saying "We have to make this dressing by hand!" Well what is that supposed to imply? I pay the exorbitant prices for healthier food at this location and honestly wouldn't expect to be charged a fee for extra dressing. The containers are small and I asked for 3 of two different flavors. All together the dressings probably equaled slightly more than 1/3 of a cup. All in all the way this manager approached me was nasty and if it were any other day her feelings would have been held in her hands after I would have finished with her. I do not tolerate disrespect from anyone. As for the dressings, the avocado dressing wasn't to my liking but the vinegarette dressing was good. The Cobb Salad lacked the turkey meat giving maybe two small and broken pieces of meat and the bacon was completely missing. I'd asked for the bacon to be put on the side. This won't be my normal stop anymore because I don't like people and companies who are in line with price gouging and greed while also asking for tips at the register where you pick up your own food. You just lost a customer Great Harvest. I can speak highly of Eden who offered me a complimentary cup of water while I waited. Eden has the business sense it takes to be successful and I did appreciate her during my visit. Goodbye Great Harvest...
Read moreMy visit on Tuesday left me with many questions. I have only eaten at this restaurant once before and that was sometime last year. With the corona virus on my mind and wearing my mask, I entered the store and noticed that all the menus were clumped together in a basket by the front door for everyone to touch. I picked one up by the corner to read. When I approached the desk to place my order I had to wait on Sara (?) to finish her conversation with another employee AND to take a phone call while I stood there waiting to be greeted. I noticed that she as well as the rest of the employees were NOT wearing masks. As I was placing my order another employee called for another customer to come up to the second register, right beside me! We were almost touching shoulders. This behavior was repeated over and over again while I waited on my food. At one point there were four adults and six children all huddled around the registers with the children handling every bag of chips that were being displayed in front. The two employees in the kitchen area were wearing gloves and hair nets but no masks. There were a few other customers in the store while I was there waiting on my "To Go" order and when they got up to leave no one from the restaurant came out to clean their tables, wipe up the crumbs or pick up a leftover napkin. From my vantage point I could see the employees who were making my sandwiches and I observed them to be very mindful of the food they were touching. If you are operating a business that requires customers to come into and you are not going to participate in the safety measures set forth by the State to PROTECT said customers then how about flying a flag or posting a big sign outside that says, "WE DO NOT BELIEVE!!!". That way, those of us who do believe, can make the decision weather or not we want to be one of your customers. P.S. The sandwiches were dry as the desert with absolutely no dressings or...
Read moreJust tried this place for the first time. It has a very Farmhouse family feel which I love, as for atmosphere. The bread was outstanding. I got an egg and cheddar cheese on sourdough which was to die for. The Snickerdoodle is probably one of the best I've had in a very long time and BIG. I also purchased one of their dried premade packaged soups to make at home which is a great "shopping accessory" to browse for while waiting for your order. My favorite part was the free sampling at the counter. It wasn't just out there for everybody to grab at, with their grubby hands. They actually have their samples display behind glass and were willing to fresh cut a piece for me to try! They had a variety of breads and sweets to sample. I went for the brownie. Because, why not. They hand it to you on wax paper and from there you could add a special jam or spread that they offer, for a free try! I saw something called cinnamon butter, on my way out, that I definitely need to go back for. That just sounds Damn Delicious. I particularly loved looking at all those fresh baked Breads and noticed that the people working there were also eating their own creations, which means that they enjoy what they are making. This is going to become our new favorite place to eat at. Oh and they gave me a grocery bag to take all my gear with me which was also a nice touch. I like how they also offer fresh peanut butter, spreads and Chili mixes to purchase. Sure the price point is higher than fast food but come on. Who the hell wants fast food when you have a place like this who makes healthy food with organic ingredients! There is just...
