Read moreI will pre face this review stating that I will go back and I think the food is very yummy. I have even here numerous times.
The most disappointing thing about this place is the customer service. For allergy purposes I specified to leave something off my sushi order, by at first bite I realized they messed up. I had to give away my food to my kid.
Another instance, I placed a to go order and showed up 20 minutes later to pick up. I paid in was told it would be ready shortly. After that the restaurant became very busy. I ended at patiently waiting for over 30 minutes watching people who had came in after me get their food and leave. Turns out it was ready all along sitting on the counter.
I will say she apologized but did nothing further to rectify the situation. Knowing that a customer comes in often and you just cost her time and aggravation you would think she would try to ease the situation further to make sure she kept a customer. Nope!
They are all the time requesting tips on receipts and in the bucket but yet all they do is take your order cochot call your name and that's it. There is no " Hi how are you?" "have a great day" nothing. Add customer service can ruin even the best restaurants. They need to...
Read moreI usually love this place and don’t get me wrong the food was amazing as usual but there was a new cashier I hadn’t seen before there with darker skin tone looked young maybe teens or early 20s who was the most unprofessional and rude person I’ve ever dealt with. I asked originally for a side of the hibachi steak…the side not the whole meal. She told me my total which I thought was a little high but I paid it. I got the whole meal and I explained I only wanted the side. Another person came to help she refunded me the difference and corrected it for me she was super sweet. The cashier on the other hand who had orginally taken my order was talking about it under breath claiming that I should’ve just told her I wanted the side and that I should’ve said that in the first place. I remember explicitly saying I only wanted the side. There is no reason to glare at me, be snobby about it, and get upset when there is an error in listening. On top of that when she handed me the corrected food she just threw it on the table, no word jo nothing, no “sorry about that” or even a “ here’s the steak” just threw it and turned and walked away. SO...
