This was my first time ever eating at Freddy's. I usually wait until I've had a few experiences under my belt before I leave a review but this was a great experience as soon as I walked in the door. I was greeted simultaneously by two friendly cashiers, both ready to take my order.
KaMyia was great. I ordered the Original Double, no onions. I upgraded to chili cheese fries and grabbed a fork as I knew they served shoestring fries which I'm not a fan of. To me it's like trying to eat spaghetti with my hands. Anyways that's just my preference. KaMyia asked me if I wanted to omit the onions from the chili cheese fries as I didn't specify because I didn't know to. That's something most seasoned F/B folks pick up on. She was on point.
The Original Double was delicious and perfectly cooked! Smash burgers are one of my favorite! It was bigger than I expected. Steak and Shake on steroids. Much better! It wasn't greasy. Pattys dwarfed the bun. Not like Cook Out where you get a 1/3 of a plain bun with a giant slider patty lol. Next time I'll ask for one slice of cheese instead of two as I thought it was a bit much. Again, my preference. Expect the beef to be well seasoned. It wasn't too salty for me and I usually salt and pepper my burger in restaurants.

So I thought, let me download the app and get my burger for free. Told the cashier I was doing so. Now it's my turn to order. Went to order my food and was told I have to wait 24 hours to get the free burger. I laughted. What a gimmick i said. Could have told me. Read the sign again. Nowhere does it say after 24 hours. OK, so I think. Nope, I'm not doing it. I then ordered my food. Waited 10 mins at my dirty table that still had stuff from the last person that sat there. To my surprise, i got a pink burger. Not fully down. Now let me tell you. This burger meat is really thin. Im talking thin like paper. I'm thinking. How can they not fully cook a really paper thin burger 🤔 if you're like me? You're thinking, how is this possible. Needless to say. They did. Now my boyfriends mom has to use the restroom. No surprise, it's a mess. Paper all over the floor. Only one toilet. Read moreWe arrived about an 45 minutes before closing and we understand closing time is approaching, however, good customer service and attention to detail should be provided at all times, up until closing time. Unfortunately, our drive-thru order was missing an entire meal and another was prepared incorrectly. Once home, we tried calling the restaurant several times to convey the mistake and get a resolution, however, the line rang endlessly and then disconnected rather than answered. The food we did receive was subpar and the experience was just not a good one. We have gone more than once and this, by far, was the worst visit. We paid about $50 for food and service we did not receive. We love Freddy's which is why we need to let you know about this visit. Encourage great food and service during your service hours. It shouldn't end when the employees feel they'd rather start getting ready to end their shift.
