The way the manager(?) Julia handled a situation totally ruined my whole experience here. My Aunt, Grandmother and young son stopped here to grabbed a bite to eat on our way back home. My aunt offered to pay and handed out waitress her debit card. We noticed it was taking her quite sometime to return with my aunt's card so we could be on our way. When she finally came back to our table she said that she swiped her card several times and it was declined for the total bill amount of $80.15 but did accept a charge for $7.15. My aunt was confused because she knew she had enough to cover the bill amount in her account so she called the automated system for her bank. At that time the lady who introduced herself as the manager Julia came over to explain this. Julia said that the waitress and herself swiped the card several times but they kept getting a message saying "host offline " for the bill of $80.35 and finally got a confirmation with receipt for $7.15. By that time my aunt had listened to her transactions on her debit card and it said pending transactions for $7.15 and $80.35. Julia said that she canceled the $7.15 because that was the only one her records showed. So my aunt paid with her credit card (that she was not intending to use) and we left. As soon as we got in the car my aunt called her bank to see what was going on. The bank informed her that her card was swiped at least 4 times! They charged her 3 times for $80.35 and one time for $7.15. The bank stated that at that point all charges had went through and there wasn't anything they could do at the time. They told my aunt to call or go back to the restaurant and let them know that it was actually 4 charges and make sure they cancel them all out at the end of the night so her money could go back onto her account the next day. So she took the banks advice and called Ruby Tuesday and asked to speak to the manager. Julia answered the phone and my aunt explained the situation. Julia then stated she was the one we spoke to at the restaurant. We were calling her from the bluetooth speaker in the car so my aunt and I could hear her and she could hear us both as well. My aunt spoke to her first and she got an attitude with her and kept saying don't yell at me. My aunt was not yelling she explained to her she was only trying to speak loud enough so she could hear her via bluetooth in the car. So I asked my aunt if she would like for me to try to explain it to her and she said yes. I then told Julia the main reason my aunt was calling was to inform her that her bank said that there was 4 transactions and their amounts and to make sure she canceled all 4 because she mentioned only being able to cancel the last transaction for $7.15. Then asked her why was my aunt's card swiped so many times anyways. When you swipe someone's card more than once it either charges their card or puts a hold on it. I also explained to her was that what they had done was swiped her card until the emptied her account. I tried to explain the inconvenience of them leaving her with no money hopefully until the next morning when all her money was returned. Also she had to use a credit card that she was not planning on using causing her extra money in interest and fees. My aunt literally had to beg Julia for an apology. She kept saying smart remarks to my aunt instead owning up to the mistake her and her employee had made. We asked for her name and she gave us Julia. We told her that we would be contacting corporate to report the incident and her attitude. She told us to go right ahead and hung up. We live almost 2 hours from that Ruby Tuesday location. So it would have been a major inconvenience to have to travel back there to show bank statements or proof just so my aunt could get her money back. Needless to say we will never be visiting that location again or any other Ruby Tuesday's that foster employees with bad attitudes towards...

What a terrible dining experience! If it weren't for the salad bar I would have given this all one star.
We arrived around 9:00 on a Friday night and we're seated right away cuz the place is completely empty. That should have been a giveaway of what our dining experience was going to be. I have been craving the salad bar which I remember from long ago and was the reason that we actually went there. My kids found the two for 25 on the menu and decided upon cheese sticks for an appetizer, a cheeseburger and tater tots for my son, and chicken strips and tater tots for my daughter. They were both super excited about the tater tots.
The salad bar was delicious and because I could make it my way was exactly what I wanted and how much I wanted and tasted like I wanted to so I have no complaints there. My complaints come with the food that they served. Although 25.00 isn't a lot of money when you look at what we actually got for it it's a joke. The hamburger was tiny, I mean really tiny. We're used to having a 1/3 lb Burger at Chili's for 10.99 with an appetizer and a drink. This thing looks like it was a McDonald's hamburger that's how tiny it was. On both my kids orders the tater tots were so severely overcooked and the oil had not been cleaned and so long they were just disgusting. My daughter's chicken strips were really just breading cooked a nasty Grease. She loves chicken strips and she didn't finish even one half of one piece. I tried to eat them and they were so disgusting I couldn't even eat them. My son devoured his hamburger but was still hungry at the end.
There wasn't really anything wrong with the service but the food was just absolutely terrible. I could have been given a 50% discount and still would have been upset at the food that we got. Outside of the salad bar the food we received wasn't even worth $10.
In the city where I'm from all of the Ruby Tuesday's are already closed. I'm not sure why or what happened as I used to love their salad bar and even some of their dishes. But it's obvious to see that the rest of them at least this one should be closed down I don't know how they keep the doors open. So unless you're getting the salad bar I don't recommend that you eat here or spend your money here it's not a good value, it's...
Read more@rubytuesday linktr.ee/rt.rubytuesday I visited this Atlanta Hwy location in Georgia and let me state racism STILL exist at its finest! I usually don't take this route because I never want to truly believe it's true. After a long days work, I walked into this establishment and was asked by Ashton to wait at the front while he cleaned a table for me across from the bar. After waiting for some time, a Caucasian couple walked in and proceeded to be seated at the table that had been cleaned. Ashton came and stated to me "Right this way." To my attention, the couple was sitting at the table that was cleaned for me as he proceeded to sit me at an unclean table and neither did he bother to clean it. I then asked Ashton "Which table did you clean"? He stated "That one" meaning the table the couple is currently sitting at. I asked Ashton "Why would you sit someone else at the table and if that's the case, why didn't you wipe off the table you have decided to now seat me at"? He simply just looked at me. The couple heard my concern and moved to another booth. The waitress, Victoria came over and asked for my order. I asked her if I could speak with the supervisor/manager on duty. Jack, the supervisor came to speak to me and was very nonchalant, stating he really didn't see what the problem was but will speak with Ashton and get back to me in a few after speaking to him. Let me say Jack never came back and had Victoria, the waitress ask me if I wanted dessert on the house. No. I don't want dessert at all! I want genuine customer service just as any other person. I came with intentions to pay for my meal in full without any discounts. I think we have truly gotten away from treating others with respect, value and overall equality. If no one ever walked into my establishment, I would not get paid. I don't wake up every morning to work hard at my place of employment to spend my money with establishments of this caliber. We have to do better with knowing who to hire, who to let go, who is damaging our establishments and when training in necessary in order to run a successful business. I will never visit not only this establishment but no other Ruby Tuesday location in this state or...
