For about six years I've been a loyal customer at this location, and until about a year ago the customer service and food quality was amazing. It seems that after employees were merged over from the closed Vandenberg Village Location, this place has really gone to the dogs The pizza quality is now hit-and-miss while the counter staff seems aloof and sometimes even unprofessional. Normally, I opt for in-store pick-up and can say that store cleanliness has deteriorated with the counter and work areas nearly always a mess. One can only hope that food safety and sanitation practices haven't followed a similar trend. I swear sometimes that this store is a sign from God telling me to eat healthier.
When made property, Domino's has the best mass-produced crust and presents an overall better texture. That combined with quality toppings make this my favorite all-around "delivery" in town.
While not a store-unique feature, they have the best app experience. Reordering the 'usual' only takes four clicks (would be three without the annoying donation solicitation). One drawback of the "Domino's Tracker" is that it's only a notional timeline. Several times, I've arrived to "come and get it" only find out that it hasn't even been put in the oven yet.
If pizza is a rarity in your household and you don't mind bad service and a messy store, then you might want to try this place out. Otherwise, Pizza Hut has better flavor and is a close second.
Great brand, quality ingredients, this location just needs an employee makeover. All in all, I rate them: 2 out...
Read moreI love Domino's and this would be my normal choice in town, but the staff is too shady...
At first it was just three separate occasions of not showing up after I placed a delivery (my coworker also placed an order at our workplace for lunch once, same thing happened). I called...they said they couldn't find my address, so they just drove back to the store and didn't deal with it. It had been two hours by the time I called. They offered to send them back out. "The pizza should still be fine". Uh. No?
The last straw was when, about 30 minutes later after a night delivery, the delivery guy came back and actually tried to break into my house. No kidding. To be clear, I'm a petite female that lives alone and this was around midnight and all the lights were out. Dude came into my gated backyard, climbed my porch and managed to open the security door. Luckily the back door itself was locked, because he tried to pull that open too. He ran around the house trying all the windows before I confronted him. I had my phone out to call the cops (and my firearm ready, to be clear), but he did leave. I regret not reporting it at the time. I guess because he seemed too dumb to actually accomplish anything, and I could have taken him. Just being honest.
Basically, nope nope nope nope nope. I am nope'd out of Domino's forever. Noping my way to Nopeville. And...
Read moreYet again, I've received an order that wasn't complete. Ordered 2 pizzas, bread, desert, and a drink, and didn't receive 1 of the pizzas. Had to call and am now waiting another half hour for them to remake my order, since this is the 4th time I've received something wrong with my order in the last half year. Sadly, it really depends on the people on shift. Some times orders are fine, but sadly the night/evening crew just can't get it together. Either they're too rushed, can't read, or just can't QC anything before it leaves the store. Too bad. (By way of note, the worst order I had included a 12 piece chicken bite with 2 of those pieces being smaller than dimes. They forgot the soda and desert in that order as well. So after 4 calls, talking to a woman that claimed to be a manager, my order was delivered in complete 2 hours after ordering.) Seriously, order from another place in town, Bravo, Wild West, Great Manhattan, Little Caesars. That's what I'm going to do going forward. The convenience of Dominos' online order and delivery just doesn't outweigh the frustration. ...
