Hussle, bussle dining room atmosphere (not relaxed or comfortable) where staff & kitchen employees are ever-moving about at the register and the To Go table (which is in the Dining area where people are trying to have conversation & enjoy their food). We enjoy eating where there is an atmosphere of peace & calm. Brandon's is not that kind of place. We had the daily special Fall Casserole $16 Listed online on their own daily menu website for $13 + tax ???. And, we noticed a credit charge on our bill without any notice. We would have paid cash if we had known. This overpriced meal was also disappointing to eat. The chicken and gravy sauce was edible but not good. The potatoes & green beans were bland and nearly flavorless. The service was perfunctory at best. We had to retrieve our meals ourselves after waiting for several minutes for someone to acknowledge us. We found our meals getting cold on a table full of lined up meals. This work table is located in the dining area where people are dining-in the restaurant. No one offered assistance except to have us pay which was fairly quick, interestly enough. We will not return and do not recommend this restaurant. As an interesting comparison, we had a similar meal at London's Homecooker restaurant, and the homecooker meal ($10) was vastly better. The less expensive Homecooker meal was hot, flavorful, and delicious.

Cute place. Nice decor. Decent service. Good food. Order at the counter and then they'll bring you the food. The vegetable medley is served cold. I don't normally like raw veggies but the poppy seed dressing is good on it. The caprese panini sandwich is a little small for the price but it packed with lots of stuff, ie fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, and balsamic reduction. I added avocado to mine and asked for an egg. I expected the egg to be cooked instead it was half of a boiled egg served cold in my lunch box. It's a good place for small office lunch spots. I'll be back.

It’s off the beaten path but well worth the trip. Traveling today from ATL to Ohio and stopped off for gas and didn’t want the same ole burgers and fries for lunch. Found this place and WOW! Bathroom was clean and had fancy toilet paper and soap! Restaurant atmosphere was inviting, staff was friendly and the food was amazing. AND we paid about the same amount for real, fresh, tasty food!! Highly recommend!

The food was very good although, they did not mention the “creamy pesto” is made with Mayo on the menu so that was a not so happy surprise. The daily special turkey and dressing was satisfying and the portions were large. The staff was friendly and offered extra bread after the Mayo debacle. My reason for giving 2 stars rather than a high rating is their serving containers and waste. Even though we dined in we were given our food in to-go containers rather than on plates. That would not have been so bad IF those containers are eco-friendly and/or biodegradable. The sandwich was in a styrofoam box which is the worst of any alternatives you could possibly have. The Turkey came in a heavy, plastic container which could be washed and reused if the customer is willing to do so (I took ours to do just that). However, I saw several people walk out leaving those containers on the table to then be thrown out, I’m assuming, by the restaurant. They also, had plastic bottled drinks and clear, plastic disposable cups. The utensils were also packaged plastic. This creates a significant amount of waste that could be so easily avoided by having more eco friendly packaging, or even better, having real plates and silverware for diners in the restaurant. At the very least I hope they are recycling as much of that plastic as possible. I hope they revisit their containers soon and become more environmentally responsible. It is a good restaurant and I hope their business continues to grow. I look forward to trying them again on...

EXTRAORDINARY lunch here can’t recommend enough. We got the special and had to wait because they made everything fresh. We were happy to wait for the food, but the service was so kind and considerate they brought us THREE desserts in addition to our food to make up for the wait (which mind you wasn’t even longer than what you’d expect on a sunday at a steakhouse if your native to the south). We got the autumn casserole and it was lovely everything was very hot, fresh, and well seasoned. I’d even say the wait was timely considering everyone in the restaurant ordered the special and the line was out the door when we got in. couldn’t recommend enough the service and food was above and beyond. We...
