My coworker who I was sharing the toast with had tried to address this issue through another review, but the response she received was automated and didn’t address the actual concern.
This morning, I placed an online order for my boss, as I do weekly, and included a separate side of toast—not toast that came with an entrée. According to the website, the side of toast includes two slices, cut in half (four halves total). I’ve attached a screenshot of the description from the website to this review for reference. However, I only received one slice (two halves).
I called to clarify, and the general manager kindly agreed it was a mistake and prepared the missing toast for pickup. He was very helpful and respectful.
When I arrived, the tone of the interaction changed. The front staff seemed confused until one employee, who had been waiting behind the desk with the toast, approached me. I assumed she just wanted to clear things up since we had spoken on the phone. Instead, in front of several waiting customers, she told me, “just for future reference, you only get two halves with a side.” When I explained that I had ordered a separate side of toast and was going by the description online, she laughed at me in a condescending way.
As someone who works in customer service, I believe concerns like this should be handled by first checking what the customer sees online rather than assuming they’re wrong. I wasn’t upset about the price or needing to return—I didn’t mind driving back. It was the principle and the way I was treated by the front staff that made me feel embarrassed and disrespected. I’ve enjoyed the food and haven’t had issues otherwise, but this experience—and the lack of a meaningful response to the previous review—prompted me to share this.
** In Snooze’s reply to this review they are claiming that the guest relations team has already reached out to me. I just want to clarify that that is NOT true at ALL.
** They now will not respond to emails either. Do yourself a favor and do NOT go to Snooze, or at the least do NOT go to this location. It is...
Read moreThis place is painful how loud that they allow grown adults to get. Secondly I’ve been here before and it was never as packed as it was today and I waited for over 1.5 hours to be seated at the bar. There needs to be a time limit for people to eat here as well as there needs to be the ability for individual folks to sit at the same table and eat together. It’s rather unacceptable that they allowed other parties of one to take up tables and continued to not seat me anywhere despite its supposed to be first come first serve... There is no waiting area whatsoever; so if you are elderly disabled or have issues standing for a long time this is not the place to be. After waiting so long for a seat they told me to go stand by the wall and wait for a seat to open so I could quote be the first to hop into it. I really felt this was unorganized, unprofessional, definitely not courteous or respectful of my time. The food here is good yes but it’s not worth any of this. The price is reasonable for the quality of food, and I do feel the employees do do their best. However management does need to take this review into consideration as there is many problems with your system for seating individual folks and wait times and other information need to be more accurate. I won’t be coming back here ever again or reccomending snooze anymore. I used to come here for years and so did all my family and I’ll be sure we don’t. I don’t know why I was treated like scum today here for no reason and I do know that this...
Read moreI have been to multiple locations of Snooze but never this one. I really liked it.
It's nice to not have to wait an hour to be seated as well so it depends on when you come but I didn't have to wait at all.
Our server was super attentive and brought us all sorts of goodies all throughout our stay. I love fancy drinks so it's fun to have a mimosa and a latte.
My food was delicious. I love eggs benedict and they have a wide variety of options. They also have the duo benny if you can't decide and you can have half and half. So that is what I did, I chose the Smashed Avocado Benny and The Ham Benedict III. They were both delicious but surprisingly I actually loved the smashed avocado more. The avocado's creaminess pairs perfectly with the hollandaise and the tomato adds a bit of brightness. I super loved it and I look forward to having it again.
I also love their rounded booths in the center of the room because normally I don't like sitting in the middle of the room it feels weird having people all around me but the booth makes me feel a little bit more enclosed and comfy cozy.
All in all I would recommend snooze to anyone who loves breakfast. And I will for sure be back. I mean no offense to Castle Rock but I feel like nobody knows how to make hollandaise down here so it's worth it to go a little bit further up for someone who knows how to make a correct...
