Top shelf Chinese food I have been on a mission to find an acceptable Chinese restaurant in the Denver area. I believe I have found my new spot! They have a location in Broomfield but I visited the Lone Tree location. I have stopped in twice now in the past few weeks. The 1st visit was more of less a trial - I tend to go very basic on my initial foray to a new spot. So this meant I ordered the tried and true classics Kung Pao chicken and Mongolian beef. I don’t eat rice any longer so I requested Lo Mein noodles. The dishes were excellent - flavorful, perfectly cooked and portioned and there was enough to warrant leftovers which is always a bonus. I almost forgot to mention that we started with 2 bowls of soup. I went for some wonton soup and my guest had the hot & sour soup. Both were hearty and a nice starter. The broths on both were flavorful and there were ample fillings. On the 2nd visit, I decided to branch out a bit and go for some house specials. I ordered the Black Pepper Filet and my guest ordered the 3 Cup Chicken Clay Pot. These were very good as well. My dish was served with chunks of filet mignon and green & red peppers. The 3 Cup Chicken was served in a clay pot and had chunks of garlic and ginger. Very good on both dishes although I was just as happy with the standard dishes personally. The decor is top notch. In the entry way is a very striking statue of what I believe is Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. It is quite the impressive sight on walking in. The tables all have color-changing LED lanterns similar to ones I have at home but with more color options. There are some nice neon signs on the wall as well as a large video screen playing anime. Even the togo containers and bag are fancy and unique. The containers have the restaurant logo as well as the bag, which is also heavy duty and insulated and would make a great bag for taking a lunch into work. The servers and manager have been very professional and friendly, and they make you feel right at home. It is a great relief to have found a quality Chinese restaurant with consistently good meals. I will of course be back often.

We were looking for a restaurant to eat with 7 people. With that many people it is sometimes hard to do a walk in. But we were in the mood for Asian food. We found Miya Moon and went that direction. When we arrived the restaurant want only serving a few customers but didn't appear to have a table meant for 7 or more people. When we told them 7 people thay didn't panic, they adapted. They had a private banquet room that didn't cost any more to sit in, The table was prepped and we were sat within 5 minutes of walking in. The server was attentive, explained the specials, menus, her favorites, and got our drinks. The food was amazing. From the rangoons to the Asian spare ribs to the individual entrees. I coulsnt have been happier about such a wonderful place to spend time with my family and a long time friend. With the privacy the banquet room gave us we were able to be us. Every time a glass was more than half empty the server was getting a refill, prebussing the table, and clearing dirty used dishes. My favorite was the curry meal. It brought me back to the last time I was in Okinawa Japan with the marine corps. The prices are very fair for the quality of the food. If you like flavor and meat cooked to perfection this is the place for you. I hope to go back soon.

I was just finished with dinner ready to talk about our AMAZING experience when I read the review prior and had to say something.

We sat down at this small table next to the booths and were instantly greeted but we could tell that the staff was busy. There was a man and his family probably more drunk than usual being beligerent and yelling across the restaurant being rude to the staff. I mean he was yelling so loud and being rude the point everyone got quiet. From what I can tell, the manager Rich came over there and talked to him and tried to fix his concerns but he was continually being rude at which point I felt bad for the staff. Nobody deserves to be treated like that. However don’t believe the bad reviews about what people have to say!! OUR experience was way better.

Me and my wife Tina have been all over the country and I cannot express how AMAZING this food was. We’ve eaten at Vegas and New York but literally this was the best Chinese food out there. The level of beauty and how the management and team have found a way to run this place with such grace cannot be overlooked! Lupe was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and let me tell you we did not expect to taste this amazing of Chinese food. After our meal, I got to meet the manager; Rich. He was very well spoken and seemed very passionate and happy to accommodate us and we spoke about our adventures about how this is the best Chinese food we’ve ever had. Needless to say, he was very happy and explained to us the history of Miya Moon and their company as a whole. They are so friendly AND I WILL RECOMMEND this place to anyone and EVERYONE. I would give them 6 stars...

First Chinese/asian food restaurant that has not only met but exceeded my expectations since leaving San Francisco nearly four years ago. I worked three blocks from Chinatown in SF and, while I’ve had decent meals from a few local Colorado spots, nothing has compared to their authentic cuisine, quality, or consistency. I’ve yet to patron Honey Pig in person - I’ve ordered delivery via UberEats and DoorDash- I have perused their photos and am confident the ambience will only add to their DELICIOUS food! I discovered them last month and am almost embarrassed to say how many times I’ve reordered! 🤭 The customization of spice level is ON POINT. I’ve ordered a few different levels ranging from no spice to very spicy (for me and my kiddos) and they pay close attention to that; not all restaurants do, especially via delivery apps. You can also add or omit veggies and proteins to create a dish that suits your individual taste.

Fried rice is possibly made with sushi rice or some mystical, magical rice because it is always perfection. Ingredients are fresh. Sauces are tasty; not too salty or too sweet. Packaging is recyclable.

TL;DR try this restaurant! You will be so happy you did! But heed my warning, you may need to increase your “eating out” budget! (Not because they’re expensive, but because their food is addicting! 😆)

Thank...
