James is absolutely the best! I haven’t been to fire house subs in a long time. But wow! What a great guy hooked me up and was the kindest person! What excellent customer service. I rarely come on this side of town but whenever I come I will make sure to come say what up! Great food but even better service! Definitely a wow experience! 5 stars!

This is my favorite Firehouse location what a great staff!!! I love this place so much I had to add to my review... came in the other day and they had 60 plus students from a nearby high school. They took every order with a smile.. incredible Staff

It has been a few years since I ate at Firehouse Subs. Needless to say it was better than I remember. Great service and fresh foods. The staff did an excellent job! I will be going back when I am in the area. I recommend Firehouse Subs, enjoy!

Sandwich was decent, all things considered, but the review doesn't pertain to the food. There was a fair number of people in line ahead of me, but thankfully a large family left after mentioning the wait time. After I placed my order I was serenaded with the conversation of Garrett, who I assume was the shift supervisor by how he was talking. Loud enough that I could clearly hear him from the dining area, I got to hear about how "...[his] life doesn't revolve around Firehouse..." Regarding having to stay after his shift, among other things. The highlights include:

-Being upset that he was tired after having to stay after, missing his rehab appointment by roughly an hour. -Repeating, "Only two more hours until I get to leave..." -Complaining to the staff about other employees by name, including how, "[employee] can't count a f*in drawer to save his life...", and, "I like [employee], he's definitely the best employee I have (around other staff)." -Trying to get other staff to agree with him while they stayed quite with obvious signs of discomfort on their face. Two employees whispered to each other about it and laughed indicating it was a pretty common occurrence.

I love Firehouse as a whole, but not enough to frequent a place where professionalism is replaced with snide comments and infighting. As someone who was previously a general manager of a franchise sandwich shop, I understand that finding good help is hard, but KEEPING good help is surprisingly easy. As a current Customer Service Consultant, I know the only way to fix things is for the owner to take a more proactive role in the well-being of their staff. And if that fails, they need to cut their losses and remove the bad fruit to get a better harvest. This seems to be a recurring complaint at this store over the last year, so unfortunately I don't count on anything being done about it.

Food's alright, but the experience...

UPDATED 8/15/25 What a delight to be served by Paul! Great attitude, very engaging, funny, and kind. I messed up my order, and when I asked for it to be corrected, he did so without charging me. He might be our most favorite yet!

UPDATED 2/5/25 We visited this store again today. The greeting, the service, the food, the atmosphere, the attitudes… still fantastic! What are you waiting for?!?!? GO!

WOW. We walked in, and were greeted so warmly… I mean greeted like family that is loved! Levi, the district manager, was on top of it. He made suggestions, and adjusted whatever we wanted however we wanted it. At one point, he asked if we’d like to take a chance on their brisket… based on his description, we said yes. I noticed James and Nate watched and listened in rapt attention just waiting to put it all together exactly as we asked. We went to sit down, and I had a flashback. I thought, “Oh, CRAP. I’ve eaten here before… and it SUCKED.” 😳 (about a year ago) Well. I decided to wait and see… Sooooo very glad I did. Besides the warm welcome, the brisket was tender and tasty! My husband was a professional chef for 7 years, and his specialty now is grilled ribeyes, as well as smoked tri-tip and brisket, so I know meat. In NO way did I expect this caliber and quality of food in a somewhat fast food atmosphere. So… GO! Tell ‘em I sent you. Expect great attitudes and service, as well as flavorful and...

I don't eat here because I am not someone who likes subs or sandwiches at all. But my family eats here a lot and loves it. I got some food from a nearby restaurant and then took it to go so that the rest of my family could eat here and everyone could have food they liked. My family LOVES the food here. I'm sure it's good if you like subs. But I'm reviewing this place because the staff was SO friendly, attentive, and professional that it really made me take notice. It felt like a fine dining experience at a fairly fast-food-type restaurant. It wasn't like any other lunch place I've been to. The restaurant itself was SPOTLESS. They do an AMAZING job of cleaning it and it is such a refreshing place to be with some incredible interior design too. I really appreciate their support of our brave first responders and of America. So here's 5 stars from someone who didn't even eat your food but was so impressed by the service and atmosphere that they had to let you know how...
