La Esquinita Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Long Beach

Extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this family owned restaurant. Owners are very welcoming. They have to gonor seating and inside is very clean and comfortable.

I had the Burrito de Chile Relleno. This was the best chili relleno I have ever had. Perfect flavors, including their green and red salsa. I also had a Tamal Rojo. This was equally as flavorful. Prices are very good for the high quality and flavor of their dishes. I rat a lot so at first wished the burrito was larger but eating it slowly I was able to enjoy the quality of flavors. Its worth the quality and price. It ended up filling me along with the tamali. After I left felt perfectly satisfied. A great sign of quality and flavor.

I high recommend and will return when I am in the area again. I love these local family...

New spot out in the Wrigley area and wanted to check it out.

Food - Ordered tacos and to be honest the tortilla is good, meat is good, but that's pretty much all you get and it's just a plain taco. They need to add something to make them different.

Prices - Decent prices as its the going market value.

Service - Employees are chill, not much for them yo do as of the space.

Venue - Place is tiny with maybe 4 tables but clean and bright.

Overall would like to try other items but so far not...

La Esquinita is a really good new spot for great tasting Mexican food. Everything is made from scratch and tastes delicious. They’re a small business and owned by super friendly and hard working Long Beach locals. I’ve had their Machaca (which was my favorite dish), Menudo (which is available every day and bomb), Chile Verde Burrito, Ensenada Style Fish Tacos, and Birria de Res. Their aqua frescas are also very good. It was all amazing and I can’t wait to go back to try more items on...
