Miracles from Honey — Restaurant in Long Beach

SO HAPPY an Armenian bakery has opened up in Long Beach. This is a true rare gem of a place at the end of 2nd street! I should’ve taken photos of the food but I’ve tried the honey cakes, honey nuggets, napoleons, coffee cake, and celebration cake. All are so good and perfectly moist and rich without being too sweet! Amazing unique flavors. My favorites are the classic, cocoa, and apricot for the honey cakes and honey nuggets. The napoleons are like a flakey croissant with powdered sugar. I love the classic because that’s what I’m used to having from Armenian places, but the cocoa was a nice surprise. I brought the honey nuggets to a bbq and they were a hit. I had a wonderful experience at this cozy, family-owned coffee shop. They had fresh squeezed orange juice, specialty coffee “Honey comb”was a unique and delightful surprise—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. The avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and the “Marlenka” honey cake was absolutely divine—light, moist, and just the right amount of sweetness.
