Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Long Beach

Called in and spoke with owner, Dan. He then questioned my order and a coupon I used in the past. He then lectured me for 14 minutes about his business and how business works. He was very condescending and rude to a long term customer. He questioned the price of which I received in the past and then researched it and I received it two times in the past. He then never apologize and just said how weird it was for a random person to be receiving the coupon that I used. Then he decided to tell me about tires and how profit margins work using a tire company analogy.

He then said what can I do to make your experience better and I said, honor the price I got in the past and he refused. He then got hot tempered with me and told me that he was busy and had things to do and if I would like to cancel the order or pay the full price. He even had the nerve to say that I only purchased from them 5 times before over the phone and that it wasn't that big of a deal if he kept my business although he would like to. I told him that I come from Northern California where there is tons of round tables and I will be sure to pass along the my experience to everyone I know.

In the end he did nothing to reconcile after calling me a liar and then him discovering I in fact wasn't lying. Dan the owner gave me the worst customer service and this I'm sure reflects other owners that have a pompous, sarcastic, condescending attitude toward...

The pizza was really good. I got the King Arthur special, it's loaded with toppings. Once the order was in it took at least 25 minutes to get our pizza. They make their pizza when you place your order and that's why it takes a little longer and they thoroughly cook it. They use quality toppings and cheeses. I guess because this location is walking distance to the beach their rent is expensive and it shows in the price of the pizza. I got a small King Arthur special (8 small slices) and it cost $17 but compared to the $7 chocolate shake I got from a lunch truck/ice cream truck that was parked by the beach it's not too over-priced. Parking at this pizza location is a pain as there...

So been ordering the medium King Arthurs Supreme for years (at least 5+). Same order. Last order...awful. So disappointed. Example: extra sauce came not on the pizza, but in a plastic container. Dahhhh. Overcooked. I can't even fix it. Had to toss. Hubby hungry, I had to cook.:) Not happy. Don't know if there are new owners. Use to be our go to place.
