Came here for lunch on a Monday after looking up somewhere local with shrimp tacos. We get here and come to find out, it's happy hour all day Monday (woohoo!) but I am on a work lunch break so no margarita deals for me (boohoo). Shrimp tacos were however also on the happy hour menu so I ordered me one of those and a thing of taquitos (also happy hour approved). They instantly brought chips and salsa to the table upon arriving which is always great. Salsa was bland but whatever, it's free food.

My order comes out and I have the babiest looking shrimp taco ever. I seriously had 3 baby shrimps in my mini corn tortilla that I ordered for $2. Recall, this is happy hour so this price is discounted from whatever the regular price of that baby taco was but even at $2 this was MEGA discouraging. I finished it 2 bites; I paid $1 per bite.

The taquitos weren't really what I was expecting either but at least I can say the $5 happy hour price tag was reasonable. They were drizzled with crema and green sauce (I guess their version of guacamole?) and topped with a BUNCH of lettuce and cojita cheese. My taquitos were so dry it sucked without proper sauce to eat with. I even tried dunking one in the bland salsa and that was not any better.

Overall, the staff is nice and very attentive but the price I am paying for these food items is ridiculous. I don't think I'll be coming back because nothing food wise stood out. The person I came with was even turned off by the fact that his shrimp tacos were the same size as his "street taco" (wonder how big a regular taco is?) and they're topped the same too for the most part except the salsa was different. Just a bunch of cabbage for the most part which shouldn't be on a street taco. No...

We visit often because it's within walking distance, and the Brussels sprouts are SO good. (No bacon or pancetta needed to make them awesome) But I wish the service was better.

More often than not, we are greeted right away and shown to a table and shortly thereafter we are served chips and salsa..... and then we get forgotten about. I've gone both with the kids and adults only, peak times and before the dinner rush, and getting a server to get our order started takes at least 5-10 minutes.

It wouldn't be bad, but sometimes you get a piece of jalapeno in the salsa and it would be nice to have a beer, margarita or even plain water to help ease the burn.

Once a server has taken your order, then you're pretty much in the clear as far as the rest of the meal goes. The food is always tasty with fresh ingredients, and the chances of getting your beverage refilled depends on the efficiency of each server, but that's the same anywhere. Just be careful ordering alcohol close to 9pm, they pull the glassware off the table, empty or not, because of a strict license agreement with the nearby residents.

Overall, it's a decent spot owned by locals. There are tons of TVs tuned in to any sport you're there to watch, and the bartender knows her stuff. If they can get their servers on a better rotation, that would...

Again Nationalities not recognizing I am America 🇺🇸. So things always start with a faint greeting but don't refuse Business because of Business laws. OK I wait. Obvious want me to turn away. Obvious I am the only one looking as such different complexion from customers. So I am at home they are all foreign white complexion not America white. That doesn't bother me. I'm at home at an America Business right they better believe and be so. I paid for my Tacos, Tortilla Chips and fries. I did not get my change in cents cash. I had to request a receipt and for my money but I only requested for the receipt. I didn't offer a tip but was then asked do you want change. I paused and said no. I am obviously without housing but not raggedy tacky and that is my income money I paid. First visit to this location. Did eat and a favorite to the staff in Downtown Long Beach which closed down. I got no ketchup and extra containers mixed with hot sauce. I was not told of hot sauce. No salsa for Tacos. Tacos not enough inside crumble pieces over cooked ends/sides from pan no moisture. Not eating here again but is returning for my change. Customers fumigating with chemicals think food make a...

Taco Beach in Long Beach is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the vibrant and lively atmosphere sets the perfect tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The decor is fun and inviting, with a laid-back beach vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is simply outstanding. Every taco is a flavor explosion, with fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced spices. The Baja Fish Tacos are a must-try, bursting with fresh fish, crunchy slaw, and a zesty sauce that ties it all together beautifully. The Carne Asada Tacos are equally impressive, with tender, juicy beef and rich, savory flavors. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The bartenders mix up some of the best margaritas in town, making Taco Beach not only a great place to eat but also a fantastic spot to unwind with friends. Whether you're a local or just visiting Long Beach, Taco Beach should be at the top of your list. Delicious food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a 5-star experience every time. Highly recommended!

The waitress was such a cheerful, sweet ball of bliss! Made sure we were ultra-comfortable all the time. Bowls of tortilla chips with salsa come for free. Portions were decently large, as was the large beer. The rice and the potato tortillas were sooo tasty! We ordered the pollo planche - which we thought would be more like a part of chicken on a charcuterie board but turned out to be more like grilled chicken blocks: tasty all same! So much tasty-looking stuff on the menu so this place is bookmarked to visit again next time we're in LA~!

Ordered - Taco Tuesday $3.45 each 3 Shredded Beef Hard Tacos 3 Al Pastor Tacos 3 Baja Fish Tacos 1 Grilled Shrimp Taco Beef was decent. Not great but not bad Al Pastor also decent, not great but not bad Baja Fish was meh. Breading was hard, not that tasty, no lime and kind of bland. I guess I'm spoiled from Taco Nazo. Shrimp was OK. A little bland no lime. Overall it was decent. Nothing that wowed me.
