Stopped in after work to get some tacos, I figured since it's a neighborhood restaurant and I see everybody there every day that it's looks like it's be good food. We have little communication, I asked for no cilantro, and no lime. Well we got a lime not a big deal on that but there's no cheese on these and I guess they do not after we call back and asked where's the cheese we don't serve cheese on those. Okay. So I open up the bean container. And it looks like the beans and the rice are dead my family is Mexican my grandma would throw these out of the house. They are worse than canned beans. I will have to say the steak is good. And so are the tortillas. The one thing that really got me when I was there, is that after I ordered I believe it was cashier Jerry or whoever was running the front, ask me if I wanted to pop while I waited. So I said okay thinking it was free because no one normally offers that stuff, next thing I know I'm ready to leave they come out with the food hey are you going to pay that $3.80 for that pop? What? Oh okay I will so I paid for it I told him at the same time I said don't offer pop to people while they wait because they think that they're getting free the pop that you're charging is $3.80. so it's not only a transaction fee it's the cost of a pop. So I'll cook real Mexican at home and save the $$$. Won't ever go back.

Tried this place for dinner last night. Was promptly greeted and seated. There were a number of tables already filled and the place filled up as we ate our meal. The service was pretty good where we were checked on multiple times and beverages refilled when needed. We ordered a small guacamole, kids quesadilla, burrito lagos and fajitas vallarta. The guacamole was pretty good, had to add a small amount of salt. The salsa that came with the chips had a solid mild heat which was pleasant considering most places I have to add spice as it is usually too bland. The quesadilla my daughter put the beans on although she mentioned the beans were a bit liquidy compared to what she likes. The burrito lagos was ok, I had to add some salt and then pour some salsa on it to give it more flavor as I prefer mexican chicken with a bit more seasoning. The fajitas vallarta had a nice combination of sausage, steak, and chicken with the veggies. Had to ask for more tortillas but overall they were flavorful. Overall it was a decent place. Likely will be back to try other items.

I stop with my fam and I order the chile verde plate and omg It was so damn good and a bit spicy, they got the fajita quesadilla and it was good but they do like doble tortilla de arina instead of just one tortilla like a real quesadilla but besides that I love it.

I’m really baffled by all of the positive reviews on here, honestly. Maybe we came on their worst night ever or something, but we had truly extremely disappointing/bland food. We went here for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner for the first time, and we ordered the supreme nachos, which are supposed to come with onions. Not only was the flavor of everything extremely bland, the shredded beef was literally like pot roast, unseasoned, and there was one single lonely fried onion shard on the side. We asked our server for onions and he was great and brought them immediately. Then, when we got our tacos, my boyfriend and I ordered 3 shredded beef each. He got 3 with the same pot roast beef, while I got one with that beef, and two that were filled with completely different beef which was dripping in some oily sauce-like substance, mixed with fried onions and peppers. Now, I can’t eat peppers due to a stomach condition (of course, I don’t expect them to know that, but none of the other shredded beef was like this at all), so I asked our server to have the chef re-make them with the same beef as my first taco. He brought them back, and surprise! Same oil-soaked, pepper-laden meat! My boyfriend and I ended up just switching tacos rather than wait any longer. Wouldn’t come back here, just because neither the food nor the service of the kitchen were very good (not the server’s fault!), just bland and below average in our opinion and $33. Not worth it. I felt really bad that this was my boyfriend’s birthday dinner experience, since he was really in the mood for some good authentic food, and the google pictures looked promising. I’ll be searching elsewhere for more flavorful...
