I was hoping to find something good to say. If you walk into a restaurant on a Friday night and it is empty, walk back out.
Walking in, the temperature was about 60 degrees. Even the lone chef was wearing a winter cap over the stove.
When requesting hot tea, I was told they didn't have any, even though the next table had a silver pot sitting on it with tea bags hanging out that appeared to be from a previous guest. All we could have to drink were bottled sodas or tea.
From there, we waited 30 minutes for our appetizer, though we were the only ones there. The waiter put our plates and silverware down on the table holding the fork to the plate with his bare thumbs.
40 minutes after our arrival, we received our meals. I'm a huge fan of Chinese food, and this is the first time I have ever left my leftovers without wanting to bring them home. My chicken was dry and overcooked. My date's dinner was super salty. He left his, too.
When we were ready to go, we went to the front to pay our bill. We were not given a bill to review, but instead were instructed to tap our card. We were then thanked and walked out, no receipt, and thankfully no option to leave a tip.
I highly recommend not going here.
Also, they offer this unique, authentic menu on their website. Those items were not an...
Read moreSo incredibly happy to have found Sing On Pho! We stopped in on a Sunday night needing some soup. My wife and I order some pho and start talking about how the server looks familiar. We couldn’t figure it out, then her Mom walks out and she looks familiar too. That’s when we realized that they are the family that used to own a very popular restaurant (our personal favorite) in the Highlands neighborhood of Denver on 38th street, which they operated for 15 years. We moved away from Denver up to Longmont several years ago and missed their restaurant dearly. What a blessing to be reconnected with them and their delicious food!
I highly recommend all of their soups. Their pho, beef stew with wonton noodle soup, wonton noodle soup, Vietnamese pork egg rolls, and pork dumplings are all so amazing. Looking forward to trying their katsu, rice bowl, and noodle bowl as well.
Longmont we are so lucky to have this restaurant and family in our community. They are a new business in town, open a few months. Please try them out and support them...
Read moreI had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! We ordered the beef brisket wonton noodles, steamed dumplings, shrimp tempura, and the owner even surprised us with extra fried spring rolls. Every dish was absolutely delicious, bringing back the authentic old-style homemade Cantonese cooking that's so rare to find these days.
The beef brisket in the noodle was perfectly braised—so tender it just melted in my mouth. The wonton noodles and broth were hands down the best I've had in Colorado. The dumplings and spring rolls were filled with pork, unlike the cabbage-filled ones you usually get elsewhere.
The owners are genuinely nice and kind people, which made our visit even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Longmont, just to eat here again. I saw their Singapore rice noodles and they looked amazing, so I'll be ordering that next time. Plus, the portion sizes are really generous. Highly...
