Decent food overall, some items are great. I love the California burrito. I recently went in to order breakfast burritos, and finished ordering at 11:02am. Because it was after 11am when I paid, the price of the burritos went up by $2 each. They're a good value before 11am, not at all if you order at 11:02am. I strongly recommend Abuelitas instead, on Lashley and 3rd if you want an amazing breakfast burrito without silly pricing games.

Being a native Texan I have struggled to find a Mexican restaurant that I really like. Las Palmeras is the best so far. The food is delicious and the service friendly and crisp. The waitress even had the chef make a special combination dinner at my request. This was the best enchilada and ground beef taco that I have found. The Patron margarita was excellent, as well. Highly recommended and will be back.

I stop here for breakfast many of my work days. For a long time I ordered a simple bean&cheese burrito. After months of eating their bean&cheese, I branched out, and oh my goodness am I glad I did. Their tacos=AMAZING! Their fully stacked burritos=SO GOOD! The meat is tender and flavorful, never hard or chewy like many other fast Mexican joints. Everything I’ve eaten here is fantastic.

Literally the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in ages. Order my lunch with a friend, his food is up in 5 minutes. Mine? 20 minutes pass and nothing (identical order mind you). Ask whats up, another 15 minutes pass as people who arrived after me are served. Have to take them to go because I can't spend an hour waiting on 7 dollar tacos. Open in the parking lot and my first taco falls apart because the tortilla's are completely soaked in juice, hardly pressed at all. How can you let someone wait that long and give out tacos that soggy? By the time I got home, all the tortillas had dissolved into some haphazard posole substitute. The building is clammy, and you are greeted lovingly with 4 different signs up front telling you about the prices they are raising (definitely not on a second layer of tortilla for the tacos). Stick...

Breakfast burrito to-go was very tasty. A reasonable size, and reasonable pricing. I was bummed that there was no hot sauce included in the bag, and when I asked for some, I was informed they were $0.50 each for a ramekin. As I had no cash and didn't want to bother using a card, I declined. The nice folks behind the counter ended up gifting me one for the four burritos I bought, which I appreciated. The hot sauce was very tasty, and delightfully spicy.

I imagine the hot sauce is made from scratch, and certainly not free for them to produce, but it felt like buying an airline ticket, and having to pay for a carry-on bag. Like, can we just raise the price of the burrito enough to recoup the salsa cost and include one with every burrito? It felt kind of nickel and...

I have been frequenting this Las Palmeras for nearly 3 years, I think the food is teriffic and will not take that away from them, however the past 4-5 times I have patronized this restaurant mistakes have been in my order and I have been dissatisfied with the attitude and service of it's employees at check out when asking for mistakes to be corrected. To the point that I am now actively looking for alternatives. If what I am doing that day leaves me no other option, I will visit again but only if there is no other option. I think it is very unfortunate that I have had to make this choice after such a long time of great interactions and great food. This could've/should've been a 5...
