I would give a 0 star if I could. We've gone to this place for years but will never again. Long story, but here we go.
**Employee essentially accused me of stealing soda!
We ordered our food and each ordered a LARGE soda and told them we had our own reusable insulated cups. We've always done this. Well, when I went to refill my drink, one of the workers, maybe the MOD, and not the one who took our order, shouted from behind the counter, "Hey, you can't do that", I was taken aback and looked at her and she again said, "You can't use your own cup, you have to pay for that". So, essentially she accused me of stealing soda in front of everyone in the restaurant. I was humiliated and appalled! So much so, I had my husband dig our receipt out of the trash to prove we paid for drinks. I went up to the counter to "quietly" speak to her, but all she did was become aggressive and talk over me. I tried to tell her that if she thought we were stealing, she could have consulted the young man who took out order first, and also to never, ever accuse somebody of stealing in front of others. That's defamation!
I did call to talk to the manager named Diane and unfortunately she was just as rude and kept saying, "Well ,you can't use your own cup". Never once apologized for how we were treated.
This location has gone WAY downhill since it opened. The food tastes different and there used to be such nice young men and their mom, I believe running it.
FINALLY, I reached out to their corporate office in Cheyenne, WY as I thought they'd care to know that this type of thing is happening . . . . been a couple of weeks and a few calls, emails . . . . nothing . . . . crickets.
Too bad! We grew up on Taco Johns and I'm afraid it's going to be another one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI very seldom write reviews, but after my experience today, I needed to sound off. I stopped by to order two of the new cantina chicken quesadilla meals, a feature item thatās been out for about a month. Whoever tried taking my order acted like he had no idea what I was talking about, almost as if he was asleep. After repeating myself three times, he claimed they didnāt have that. After I told him I was looking at it on the menu board, he entered the wrong meal on the screen. I corrected him, and again he asked if I wanted an item completely different than what I asked for. Then, he went silent, nobody helped him out. Finally after a few minutes of back and forth frustration, he got it right. I asked for a few extra sauce packets too. Additionally, this store consistently has the slowest drive thru. Not sure if theyāre always understaffed, but with how much Taco Bell costs these days, removing the fast from the equation just leaves you with sub par food. We left with an up charged drink that was different than what I asked for, and no extra sauce packets (which I paid extra for). $27 dollars for two meals for fast food is insane. Go to Chipotle for that price, youāll get better food for the same price. After mostly bad experiences here, Iām turned off of Taco Bell for now, and wonāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI didn't have problems at this location until today. I went in & was going to order food. I needed to use the restroom. I waited for a few minutes as the worker helped a couple. Then, I asked for the code. The worker said rudely for me to wait as she was helping customers. I felt like I was being treated like a naughty child. I really needed to go to the bathroom. I asked another worker & she let me into a restroom. I wanted to speak w/ the worker who was rude to me & explain that I have disabilities & that to have a person who needs to go to the restroom wait when they can have an accident is wrong. Apparently, it is Taco Bell policy to not give restroom codes to customers. I wasn't told that until afterward. It goes against human rights, especially disabled humans, to be made to wait to take care of a human need. It's embarrassing, humiliating, & disrespectful. I was also trying to advocate for others w/ disabilities. I said that the communication can be better. The lady I was speaking w/ got offended & said I could go. I didn't order my lunch here after all. I'm not eating...
