Hey y'all foodie families ππππ.
I was going to update this review to a zero star but I can't so I'll have to leave it at one. The reason for the drop is because of the owner Mikki Nop reaching out to me on Facebook accusing me of hating this business because I left a comment stating I did not like ONE of their items. This business owner then after leaving these rude comments towards me immediately blocked me.
As a business owner, you need to learn how to take the positive and the negative comments about your business and learn from them. So living in Longview. I have heard about this donut shop and they're amazing donuts. Unfortunately for me I work on Saturday morning so I'm never able to go to the shop. They also have weird hours so it's really awkward to get there with my schedule. Well the gods must have been smiling on me because I was able to finally go there last week to try their items. I didn't get to try any of their specialty donuts but I did try their kolaches, croissants, donut holes, and boba tea.
First off the kolaches, they were good and tasty but a little bit too dense? The dough just seemed too heavy so it wasn't very enjoyable. I've had way better kolaches at other places in town.
The donut holes were okay. Simple plane donut holes but they were very greasy as the bag they were in was soaked with grease.
The croissant I picked up were really good. One ham and one bacon croissant. Had a good ratio meat to croissant.
The boba tea now let's talk about that. One of the best bubble teas I have found in this town. But as I mentioned before, unfortunately because the shop has limited hours, I'm not always able to be here. I had a coconut boba tea with lychee bobo's as it was delicious. The boba's were made correctly and I love that it had a strong coconut...

The Kovach dough is better than most of the other places in town, it's not that generic sweet dough. It's more savory and adds to the flavor of the boudin it's wrapped around.
The doughnuts themselves aren't as dense as other shops. They're lighter and fluffier. The maple bacon and butterfinger doughnuts were awesome. The maple seemed to be more drizzled on, rather than just painted on like other shops. It was more flavorful as well. The ones and fruity pebble donuts looked good, but my girls ate them before I could try them. But they were devoured, so I'd say they were a hit too.
We will definitely be coming back earlier next time to try more of their offerings. The strawberry sliders looked amazing too. All of the donuts, you could tell they take pride in making and...
Β Β Β Read moreYβall can call me weird if you want to but I judge how good a donut shops are base on their glazed donuts. Let me start with the people here at the shop, they are very genuine and nice people. I only wish the place is a bit bigger. It can get very crowded and we had to stand shoulder to shoulder but that right there shows you how worth it their donuts are. Now off to the donuts, let me tell you something but some how I may not be able to explain the phenomenon. Had you ever had a bit of something good and you have that sensation like it hit the spot, well thatβs my first initial bite into High Street Donuts. The sugar on the donut isnβt too sweet and the dough was so soft. Itβs a nice blend. I honestly canβt wait to go back. Thank you Mikki and Lenny also the beautiful kids as well. I look forward to that...
