UPDATED: we talked with Skylar (the manager) he was amazing and very apologetic. We WILL be going back to give them another shot. Of course the food has always been amazing!

This was our 3rd time going there and we drove over an hour to have dinner with my family and 2 of his friends so there was 6 of us. We called about a reservation and they said that they will only take reservations for tables of 8 and more. Ok, that's fine we will walk in. Walked in and was able to be sat down immediately which was great. When the waitress came they asked if we had been here before and some of us had and 1 said no. She asked what we wanted even before asking about drinks and the one told her he hasn't been her before and she looked right at him and said "Well what do you a what?" He said I don't know where's a menu to determine soup base etc... it was very rude she left brought drinks and never explained anything else. It had been a year since any of us other had been there. Soup pots came out quick but she didn't turn on our warmer. Food started coming and she never turned on our grill. We had to try to figure out the buttons ourselves. She did walk by and step on the button and adjusted the temperature how it should be because we were pushing the wrong button, then she never came back. We had to find someone else to.ask for a refill, 1 of our boys went and found her to tell her in the middle that we needed a new.grill plate ours was black. She never brought oil like they usually do so had to ask for that too. A different server from across the room had to Come because our area was so smokey and she said oh she didnt turn your fan on. Which really I can look past all of that. They really weren't that busy and wait staff was pretty well staffed. The big thing I can't look past is when we had to find her to tell her we wanted our tickets so we could leave. She sent someome.else with the tickets and there was 4 I was paying for and it was 174 plus some change I said oh OK and my husband took the receipt while I tapped my card. I put $2.00 on the tip bc honestly I've NEVER had service this bad before but didn't want to just leave nothing bc I waited tables for 10+ years when I was younger. After I did that my husband said you charged us gratuity... the lady who brought the ticket said no sir I didn't your server put that on there. What?! Ok it was $24 and some change in gratuity!! Which she didn't earn- she said it was 20% on all of our tickets! That was definitely not right but it was late 9pm and I live over an hour away and had to be up early the next morning so I didn't argue and ate that. It's not right to force someone to pay for horrible service. Which upsets me because I really like KPot but now everyone is saying they will never go back. So, now I'll probably never get to go again. Again, I've never had service this bad before and she was not busy it was just a server that had a really bad attitude from the get go. She never smiled never refilled our drinks and only checked on us once at the end when I told her we...

Disappointed Doesn’t Even Begin to Cover It

This was my first time at this restaurant—and I'm a big KBBQ fan. I brought a friend who had never tried Korean BBQ before, hoping to give him a great first experience. Instead, we got one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

We arrived toward the end of the night, and it was immediately clear the staff didn’t want us there. From the start, service was painfully slow. We had to ask three or more times for basic necessities—water, grill oil, shears for the meat—with each item taking 15 to 20 minutes to arrive.

The table was dirty, with clumps and sticky gunk around my eating area. By the end, she still hadn't wiped it down; she just said it was the employee table and she would clean it soon.

The rice we ordered? Never came. We reminded them four or five times, and each time we got a “sorry.” Eventually, we were told they had thrown the rice out—without ever bringing it to our table.

To top it off, we were only informed that last call for ordering was at 11:00pm after it was already 11:05pm. By then, we had only received two orders of meat, and we had just started cooking our second order—over an hour into our visit.

The air was also filled with choking fumes from the grill. Turns out, the built-in fans weren’t even turned on for our table—something we only discovered when a random staff member walked by and finally noticed.

After all that, we expressed our frustration to the server. She gave us one more “sorry,” handed us the bill (at full price), and thanked us for coming. No compensation. No genuine apology. Nothing.

Just to add some salt to the wound: while we were waiting on multiple items, we saw our server walking around carrying a customer’s baby. Glad she had time for that.

Some of the meats were pretty good, but it wasn’t nearly enough to make up for the chaos. Safe to say, we...

I recently had my first experience at KPOT Korean BBQ, and I must say, it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The restaurant’s modern decor combined with traditional Korean elements created a unique and vibrant ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, patiently explaining how everything worked, which was especially helpful for a first-timer like me. They made sure we were comfortable and well-prepared to enjoy the full Korean BBQ experience.

The highlight, of course, was the food. The selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables was vast, fresh, and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch, and the marinated options were flavorful and delicious. Cooking the food at the table was both fun and engaging, allowing us to tailor the flavors to our personal preferences. The variety of side dishes added a delightful range of flavors and textures to the meal, complementing the grilled meats perfectly. The all-you-can-eat aspect is a fantastic value for the price, and we certainly took full advantage of it. Whether you’re a fan of beef, pork, chicken, or seafood, there’s something for everyone. The service throughout the meal was impeccable. Our server was always nearby to assist with grilling, offer recommendations, or simply check on us without being intrusive. The attention to detail and customer care really stood out and made the experience feel special.

Overall, KPOT Korean BBQ provided an outstanding first-time experience that exceeded all my expectations. It’s the perfect place for a fun and interactive meal with friends or family. I can’t wait to return and try more of what they have to offer. Highly...

This is a different option unlike any other Longview has to offer. The BBQ option is, in my personal opinion, the best of the choices you are offered. I did not like the 2 broths that I tried. I don't hesitate to try new things and like almost anything, but if I return, I will not be ordering the soup option. You can add the HotPot (soup) to your meal for $10, but if 1 person at the table get it, the whole table has to add the $10 to their meal as well. The same is true of the table. All order the HotPot (soup), and 1 person wants to add the BBQ grill. The whole table has to add that to their meal as well. There is a sauce bar in which you can go and create your own sauces, anything from peanut butter sauce to a sweer and spicy sauce, sesame oil to their own give sauce. Fresh cilantro, scallions, jalapeños, and kimchi are also available to add to your custom creation. It is a nice option to what is available in Lobgview, but it is not really anything to write home about. The service was excellent. Our server explained how the ordering worked, and the touchscreen device was left for each table to place your order for more meats and vegetables to be brought to your table. The wait time from placing additional options was surprisingly very short, within minutes. She even walked us to the sauce bar and explained what everything was and made her own suggestions. I'm not sure I will be returning, but it is a must try, and you can see if it is something you would like to keep as an option for your weekday lunch or date night meal.

It was amazing as always! If you don't like something here, you don't like your own cooking. I loooove this place.

Atmosphere is nice, it's new and still clean. Food was great. However, the waitress we had needs further training. 1. There were no questions asked as in..."have yall been in before, let me go through how it works...any questions?" We had to figure it out and it took a good 15 min to get our order for drinks placed. There were no refills offered during the 2 hrs we were there. We received food we didn't request and had food missing that was requested. Toward the end I paid for 2 adults and two children over the age of 8 and 1 pitcher of pineapple painkiller. It was $150 plus $30ish tip. It took about 30 min before the ticket was correct. We were charged for the painkiller twice and an additional person somehow which we pointed out...waitress returned several times, we would point out the mistake and she would leave then come back. At the end one person chose not to tip, and the statement was made by the waitress to tell our friend something to the effect that they get paid by tips and its a ^#&@_ thing not to tip. Unprofessional. I understand needing more training, but it was a fiasco and the statement wasn't necessary. I waitressed before myself...but again, very unprofessional. Hopefully Lisa gets the much needed training. We were advised the waitresses do not split the tip with the people who clean the tables. They were very friendly and prompt with helping clear the table and food was brought out quickly.
