I just put in an order around 930 pm. Im a huge fan of Zaxby's but tonight I was incredibly let down. So I ordered 2 ten piece traditional wings one hot honey mustard and one tongue torch. They said they did not have enough for a 20 after I already paid, then they offered me to get boneless wings. Why would I get boneless wings but pay traditional wing prices? I decided to just wait for them to drop some more fresh wings. They told me it would only take 15 minutes. So I sat and waited next to the yellow pole they have, in the rain excitedly knowing I was about to get some fresh wings. When I got back to my hotel room I eagerly opened my hot honey mustard wings to see that they only gave me 9 instead of 10 and they barely had sauce on them. Buuuut I continued on to eating because like I said I was very hungry. While I was eating I began to notice some of the wings were really really hard. Not crispy hard, like they were supposed to be like, but like chicken jerky hard. So I stopped eating them and went on to my other tongue torch wings and it was even worse! Every wing on there felt like they were wings from 2-3 days ago that were thrown in the fryer again and then lightly tossed in sauce. EVERY single one was dry and jerky like. I paid waaay too much dang money to end up eating chicken jerky. I will not be going back smh.
TLDR; I ordered 20 wings and they were definitely really old and drier than homemade...
Read moreOriginally I started to place an order online and then go pick it up. I am glad I didn't. When I ordered at the drive through I was told they were out of shrimp, egg rolls and strawberry lemonade. These are all things I originally started an online order for. I ended up with the 4 piece chicken strip meal, regular lemonade, cheese bites, and the chocolate chip cookies. My cashier person was super nice btw and wish I had gotten her name. The food for me was just ok. It wasn't horrible, but it also wasn't anything that I'd just have to have again. The chicken strips were on the smaller side and tasted only slightly better than Raising Canes chicken.. and yes the sauce makes it for these as well. The fries were ok, but at least had some seasoning. The toast was buttered and had good flavor. The coleslaw was the same as your typical coleslaw. The cheese bites were just not very tasty to me. It's something with the batter that I did not enjoy. The cookies were ok. The regular lemonade was very delish and I would get it again or frozen next time just to try it out. This was my first visit to any Zaxbys. Most of the hype I've heard I'd for the salads. Maybe I should ha e gotten one to see, because overall for what I got and what I paid, I probably wouldn't be so quick to come back again. For reference I speak $21 and some change for...
Read moreI was eager to try the new Zaxby's in Longview as I had never had an opportunity to try the franchise. I was left thoroughly disappointed with the service and food. I visited Zaxby's on 4th Street in Longview today, Monday the 12th. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 10:05 my friend and I found the doors locked and the lights off. When I tried to open the door I was rudely waived at to wait by a member of the staff. My friend and I continued to stand outside for several more minutes. When they finally opened the door the same member of the staff told us quite rudely that "she was coming". She continued to be rude as she took our order while rushing us through ordering it. When our sandwiches arrived after a roughly 15 minute wait they were the wrong sandwiches. The staff corrected our order however the food itself was left severely wanting. The sandwiches were dry, and despite the wait and being their first customers, the sandwiches were room temperature. All in all, severely disappointed with the service and the food, will not...
