THIS PLACE IS VEGAN / PLANT-BASED!!

Just a disclaimer above! I do enjoy vegan food but sometimes it’s easy to overlook when a place is vegan or not!

That being said, my husband and I did not have the best experience here. We came in and ordered 4 items: Cafe Liegeois, Cafe Viennois, muffin of the day, and a waffle. Tell me why we had to wait over 20 minutes and our food was cold? People would come in after us and get their food BEFORE us.

The specialty coffees we ordered were good overall, the Cafe Liegeois is essentially a chocolate affogato with coconut whipped cream on top. My one complaint is that the coffee portion was very harsh, and the ice cream portion was waaayy too sweet. I don’t think I would order it again not recommend it.

My husband said that the waffle was mid, but that he would not order it again either. He did say he would order Cafe Viennois again though.

As for my muffin, it took 20 minutes for us to receive it and it was served cold - not what i was expecting at all after waiting for a long time. The muffin of the day was “orange-chocolate” and when I asked what exactly that meant, not even the cashier lady could tell me what it was. Orange with chocolate chips? Chocolate with orange bits? A mix of both? She was kind though, but it would help to know what exactly you’re selling.

Everything was served like when stay at a hospital and they bring you a plastic tray with disposable cups and plates, it does not really vibe well with the ambiance of the place. Just take a look at the picture to see how sad it looks.

As for the “coziness” of the place, I would say this is a place for people who want to sit down and chat with friends and spend time together, but are not interested in the food nor beverages. This is NOT a place where you go to enjoy a smooth coffee and pastries and sit for a while to enjoy the ambiance and company around you.

Reading the about us from the website and seeing that the manager comes from France, we had much higher expectations of the level of service and quality of the food. We might as well order some vegan Sysco or US Foods and have the same level of quality at a much lesser...

I recently visited The Good Way Cafe, and I am absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable dining experience. The café has a cozy yet modern vibe, with plenty of natural light and thoughtful decor that reflects their commitment to sustainability.

The menu is a dream for vegans and non-vegans alike! The variety of dishes offered is impressive, catering to all tastes—from hearty, comforting meals to light, fresh options. I tried their sandwich baguette, and each bite was bursting with flavor and freshness. It’s clear that the ingredients are high quality and prepared with care.

What truly sets this cafĂ© apart is their dedication to innovation. Even the drinks menu is creative, with options like the juice of the day that you won’t find anywhere else.

The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer questions about the menu and offer great recommendations. It’s evident they take pride in creating a positive experience for every guest.

Overall, The Good Way Cafe is a true gem for anyone looking to enjoy plant-based cuisine, whether you’re vegan or just curious. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu....

Goodway CafĂ© is a hidden gem in Longwood. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with the kind of grounded, welcoming energy that stays with you. The staff are genuinely kind, creating a space that feels both peaceful and personal.

The plant-based menu is fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Be sure to try the shot of espresso with vegan whip and cacao powder—it’s a small indulgence that reflects the care behind everything they offer.

There’s also a curated display of locally made goods—teas, wellness items, and more—that gives the space an added layer of community connection. It’s the kind of place where you come for a meal and leave feeling nourished in more ways than one.

The outdoor area is serene and full of life, making it the perfect spot to unwind—especially after a yoga class next door.

Whether you’re a regular or simply passing through, trust that the universe brought you exactly where...

I am so appreciative that this is an ~All Vegan~ cafe! The tofu sandwich and pistachio latte with almond milk were yummy, although the latte on the pricier side at $6. The vegan cheese on the sandwich was a nice treat since that is not something I usually have at home. Also the vegan whipped cream on the latte which is rare to find at other restaurants! I love that they have kombucha on the menu and I plan to order it next time. I noticed that the sandwich was served in what seemed to be an all natural biodegradable dish 🌿💚🌿 However, I was disappointed that the water cups and cutlery were one-use plastics. The eating area and restrooms were very clean during my visit. The menu was small and I hope to see the cafe expand on it in the future. Especially with more variety of lattes and more variety of crepes 😍🙏. Then I could see myself visiting more often!
