Mac daddy and Roman flatbreads were really good, though I wish the pepperoni was the small rounds that the edges crisp up on (if we’re talkin quality ingredients that’s what I look for and it’s rare to find) and the sausage was crumbled so it would crisp up instead of slices (personal preferences but I think that would take the pie to the next level). I prefer thin bar pies and these were basically just that, pretty thin and crispy.
Flavor was great but the price for the size of what you get I think is too high. These should probably be closer to $10. At $14 a piece your talkin $30 just for two people for pizza, where you could normally spend closer to $20 for a meat lover and feed 3 or 4. I was not starving either and one of these was just enough to be satisfied though we did warm up a few mozz sticks.
This was our first time trying them and happy we did but we can not compare to their pies so we will of course be back to try those. Happy to throw up 4 stars to support them as flavor was good but that price point is...
Read moreAlright friends, this is the definitive review right here. I'm originally from Brooklyn, New York and now living over here in Lopatcong, NJ. I'm still singing in a doo-wop group and still eating pizza! As a New Yorker, I've eaten some of the best and most delicious pizza on Earth, and I must say that these guys are right up there amongst the best in the business! When I eat their pizza I feel like I'm back in Brooklyn eating a nice, delicious slice of New York pizza. This place has the right formula and their pizza comes out just right! I especially recommend the extra large pie with pepperoni or sausages. They're always friendly and have good service, and they get the orders right! They also have reasonable prices. But I say, forget about all the apps and delivery services, and just call in the order the old-fashioned way and go pick it up (or they'll deliver it to you). You'll get the lowest price that way, and the orders are always ready on time. Cut out the middle-man and it's better for everyone! Now go enjoy...
Read moreThis review is specifically for the vegan menu. Always excited to try new vegan places, this one has potential, but needs a lot of work. I ordered the Hawaiian Vegan Chix Burger. First, our receipt said some other burger, and said + pineapple. The bun wasn't what typically comes to mind when I read Brioche. The lettuce was literally chopped iceberg likely out of a salad bag, when a single large piece of lettuce would work way better, the tomato was not good (tossed it and cut up my own from the fridge), there were pickles which was not on the description, the pineapple was definitely out of a can and tasteless (not like the large slices in the picture) and they cheese did not melt (microwaved it a bit and no melting - might do better with a different brand). All and all it was palatable because I put my own barbeque sauce on it but definitely not worth the $16 it costs. Hope it was an off day but really...
