Great pizza. I mean, great. I'm a huge fan of the pepperoni pie. Toppings are under the cheese, which makes it so much better. Good quality pepperoni, and sausage. Cheese is good. Sauce is absolutely magnificent. Getting slices here don't do the place justice. Spend the $20 and get a pie. Also, personally if I am gonna get a slice here, I'd just get a plain or Sicilian. I say this because if you get a slice with toppings, they just put the toppings on top of a cooked slice and heat it up. When you order a pie and the toppings are under the cheese, the flavor is really brought out while they bake in the sauce, and the cheese melts making a cheesy toppings matrix of deliciousness. It's a completely different experience. I think they pretty much just make pizza. But that's all you need. It's good, and that's that. Bring cash. I've heard that they make a really good Sicilian here, and can't wait to try it. Staff is cool. Place has a vintage charm, despite being in a shopping plaza featuring brutal commercial architecture. Which brings up my real real opinion of this place: I don't know what it is about the pizza, but it's got "it". With that being said, if they brought that recipe down into a better location, with a charming vintage appeal, and started going hard on their socials... they'd make it big. It's like they're sitting on a gold mine and don't even know it. And it's even the best kind of gold mine, their product and...
Read moreAlthough adorned with pizza awards dating back 20-30 years, and memorabilia, do not be beguiled by this establishment's exterior, as changes may occur under new management. Unfortunately, the service is lacking in courtesy, and the standards of food hygiene leave much to be desired. Additionally, the demeanor of the employees is one of disgruntlement, with an air of anger and disrespect. When I inquired about drink options, the register attendant responded with an irksome gesture towards the wall. Furthermore, the open, unwrapped paper straws at the register are exposed to unsanitary contact, such as coughing and sneezing. Despite these shortcomings, I brought my family here a dozen times, initially seduced by the freshness and palatability of the pizza, and overlooking the employees' impoliteness. Unfortunately, the pizza quality has been mediocre in recent times, culminating in a visit where an elderly gentleman prepared a pie that was excessively laden with cheese and sauce, possessed a moldy flavor, and had unpleasantly...
Read moreThey get a 3 because the pizza is good. If they improved in all the areas that badly need improvement they would get a 5. First off they need to update their website. The price for a large pie on the website is $13.70 but when you get there they want $17.00. That's a huge difference and enough to remark about. It's like a bait and switch so now you either pay the ransome for your dinner or start making plans from scratch for somewhere else. The website also says they close at 10 but when we arrived just after 8 the lone staff member was clearly annoyed and did not make us feel welcome. We didn't ask was he about to close because if he was then we were misinformed and we really didn't care. No probs though dude. We won't be back. But for whatever it's worth put some signs up directing people to where you are. Even Google maps gets lost in that maze of a plaza. I guess you stay in business from your loyal long time customers who don't mind the attitude. Good...
