To preface, I used to come here all the time for my mom, my brother and I. Never going here again after this:
My 13 y/o brother and I left at 12 today to go take photos for my photography class, and I took a few on the way to Adalberto's where we were gonna make our first stop to get some food. We got a sausage breakfast burrito and split it in half, and ate it together. It was all fine then, but not 5 minutes after we left the place, my brother started vomiting in the parking lot. I went back to Adalberto's and asked the lady at the counter if I could get a refund on the burrito because it had caused my brother to vomit!! She called over some guy with sunglasses who I assume must have been the manager, and he told me he'd only charge me for one burrito (this is after I gave my receipt saying that I only purchased one burrito btw). I told him we just bought the one and split it, and I had to convey this several times. He said he wouldn't refund me. "Do you want proof that my brother puked in the parking lot??? I can go take a photo and show you" And he said no and that he'd check the cameras. "Yeah, do that, check the cameras" I went back outside to sit with my brother for a little bit, then after about 10 minutes I went back inside to check up on things. I asked him if I could have my refund yet, and he said no. Then he said he'd CALL THE POLICE and they'd handle it. "Ok! Yeah, call the police. Is calling the police really worth $10?? Ridiculous" I go back outside after waiting in there for like 5 minutes, and sit with my brother. Another 10 minutes pass by, and an old man walks by and asks if everything's alright. "No, my brother is puking!" I pointed to the Adalberto's "Disgusting ass burrito!" And then soon after he entered the building, the guy in sunglasses called me back in, and asked me to sign the back of the receipt and show him my ID, and then he refunded me the $10. The police never came, so I don't think he ever called them in the first place! It was a total bluff. I'm never going here again. I'll get my shitty fast food mexican someplace else. Y'all should...

Raising to 3 stars but.... So we've been coming back recently after staying away for a couple years. Service AND food seems to have improved. Every time the food has been fresh-tasting. Things like Taquitos (rolled tacos are crisp and not tasting stale and hard like they used to. Taco Tuesday tacos are flavorful and fresh and hot.
The young lady working the drive-thru is very nice and polite, unlike the older woman who used work the window. She was wretched to deal with and never got orders right. Most important, the new girl gets them correct.
But: As of today 7/16/25, egg prices have dropped tremendously. They've fallen 19.8% in June, down 61% Since February. It is ABSURD (at this point it's a rip-off) to still be charging a ONE DOLLAR surcharge for egg items. Add to that the 4% CC/Debit charge, it's a little ridiculous. Please change this.

Service has really gone downhill since they first opened. Went there Dec 2022 to get burrito and the dude acted like I was a nuisance. I think I'm...
Read moreThis USED to be a great spot despite the horrible service from the same cashier, until yesterday I ordered rolled tacos with rice and beans. When I got my food, the rice had dried and hard rice mixed in, then as I bit into the rolled taco I bit into a toothpick that was fried inside the rolled taco...YUCK!!!! As Im telling the cashier, she finds it funny. She said theyll fix a new plate, I said NO give me my money back. She was hesitant, but the cook was understanding and remorseful and told her to give my money back. Had she not had a stinky attitude, I would not have written a review. The cook was understanding, the cashier that was at the register on 8/24/17 @ 6p.m. shes needs to learn customer service. Going back to Albertos after this horrible experience. No more Adalbertos for my family. I just thank GOD I didnt swallow...
