Cinema Escape Rooms — Local services in Los Alamitos

This review is for Arc of the covenant escape room and our game master Noah.

This room is very interesting in comparison to the other escape rooms we’ve done with other companies. It feels more realistic leaning towards looking like a normal room rather than something out of a movie. The puzzles are very creative, and i love how on theme they are with the movie.

Noah was an awesome game master. You can tell he takes pride in his job and really wants us to have a great experience in the room. He was telling us about the new office themed room which is coming in a few weeks. He definitely got us excited for that because i have been an office fan since 2008 and have been waiting for something just like this.

Looking forward to my next visit.

Update: did the strange thing escape room recently. Really great set up and again great puzzles. Lori added in a few extra puzzles to try to make it more difficult since we told her that we have been addicted to escape rooms for a month which was fun because it added to the difficulty. Also had great pro tips - she didn’t give away too much but still made sure we were headed in the right direction. She side a great job as our game mats tee will definitely be coming back for the office...

Had my son’s birthday here with a party add on. He specifically wanted a Stranger Things Escape Room experience so it was nice to find something somewhat near us! Tiara, who was also the kids’ game master, met us and showed us to the party area which was amazingly set up already with tables, chairs, plates, cups, napkins, utensils, a Happy Birthday backdrop, centerpieces, and board games. It was a nice space that worked for us. There was a local transient that blocked the stair way up to business while we were unloading our party supplies and then they later returned up another set of stairs coming for our tables. Otherwise, everyone had an amazing time and loved the escape rooms. The kids ran out excitedly so I’m bummed we didn’t get a group photo of them with their signs. Cinema Escape Rooms is an all around excellent experience. I emailed them questions about booking rooms for my 11-yr-old’s birthday party and got a response back instantly on a Saturday evening. On the day of, Game Master Tony was very hospitable and positive with the 7 kids and 3 adults we had in each room. After we solved the rooms, he provided us feedback on how we solved some of the harder puzzles, which was really helpful, something I have never experienced at other escape room companies. He was also very affirming with our problem solving skills, which made kids and adults alike feel good! The rooms themselves incorporated the themes creatively and the puzzles for the Arc of the Covenant and Strange Things were challenging but not impossible, especially with a few nudges from Game Master Tony.
