My wife loves cider so we were excited to find out about Alma's. When we walked in we weren't sure what to think. The atmosphere was kinda dark and it's a small space. We chatted with the bartender for a bit and he was super helpful. We ordered the meat and cheese tray and a bubble waffle along with some ciders we had never tried before. Their security guard is not a law enforcement officer and is neither required nor empowered to enforce any laws in public space. Every other bar in the area allows me the courtesy of parking my motorcycle in front. To be clear I was not "operating" a motorcycle. I was parking it. Read moreWe found ourselves starting off date night at Alma’s, ✨the only cider bar in Los Angeles AND with the biggest cider menu in the US and quite possibly the world✨ With so many delectable drinks in sight, we landed on a sour cider (me) and a Pilsner (him). Charcuterie Boards also are magically made right in front of you by the bartender, further giving off the Brooklyn vibe that’s fitting of the neighborhood🍻
