Ameci Pizza & Pasta - Chatsworth — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This place is my go to when I’m feeling pizza or similar. They have friendly service and pretty fast. This pizza joint is alway clean and I have yet to be able to sit down and eat there. It is in one of my bucket list I’m sure of it. Todays treat was a calzone meat lovers. Ian a creature of habit do I tend to stick to what I like and not wonder further from there. But I felt froggy and took a leap of faith. Good thing I did. The calzone was delicious as you can see by the pictures the one from the car ride was the only one I was able to take.

The is similar to what they use for the pizzas, if not the same. Cheesy and well prepared. In the box came everything I needed to enjoy my delicious treat. A container filled with marinara sauce very flavorful and hot, it compliments the calzone and does not over power it. Some napkins cause I am a messy eater sometimes. A fork and knife was also included.

The combination of different meats just made a great combination of flavors. The meats used was pepperoni, ham,salami, sausage, and meatball. Everything seemed to sliced thin like pepperoni style. A great combination of course when heated the juices all the meats release mix in with the cheese which I like. Ricotta cheese is what is used. Now I have tried similar which had mozzarella but my taste buds like ricotta better. Maybe at some point I will do a competition between calzone ricotta vs calzone mozzarella. Try them out or if you have not tried them out give them a chance you will not be disappointed.

If possible walk-in and check out the place. They do deliver. I see the delivery guy going in and out...

Me and my mom had lunch here after doing some errands, and I would not recommend it. Our server was very polite to us when bringing the pizza and when we paid. However, when we got home, my mom discovered that the server added his own extra tip without our knowledge. After this, I'm starting to think that friendly attitude was a facade. We dont mind giving tips when deserved but it is NOT okay to tip yourself when the customer clearly did not wish to do so. This isnt the first time we had an issue with this specific location. A few years ago, we came to eat here and the man working there completely ignored us until we started to leave. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and think that he was busy, but after this incident, I now see that this restaurant does not treat their customers in a respectful manner unless it is convenient for them. Until they get new management that doesn't try and scam their customers, I would suggest staying away. We never had this experience at other...

Ownes doesn't care about food allergies!!!This is the worst pizza place. We spent over $90 on food from this place. We ordered the ameci deluxe super jumbo pizza ,3 salads with NO black olives on the pizza and 2 salads, as I'm allergic to olives . When we got the pizza it was covered in black olives. We called them to let them know about the mistake. When the owner answered the phone, we explained the situation. He told us that he didn't make the mistake we did. That we didn't order the pizza without black olives. I know that we made sure to order NO olives, again since I'm allergic. He them started to argue with us and continued to tell us it was our mistake. We told him we were willing to give back the incorrect pizza for a correct one. He said it's wasn't his fault and wasn't going to replace it. Obviously he doesn't care about his customers. He is the worst...
