Villanueva Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I stopped by here for the first time to pick up lunch. It was 11am and there were no customers inside. The man at the register greeted me with a smile and asked "How can I help you my friend?". I glanced at the menu and decided to order the Al Pastor Alex Burrito, chips and salsa, and horchata to drink.

While they made my burrito I helped myself to their salsa bar where they have quite a few options of salsas and fix ins like onions and the like. They also gave me a larger sized salsa cup for the salsa for my chips. The guy making my burrito also asked me if I wanted to put salsa in it before he wrapped it up, which I thought was really neat!

When I got home and devoured my meal, I was really impressed. The burrito was absolutely delicious, the chips and salsa were good, and the horchata was quite refreshing. Their salsas have quite the kick to them, so make sure to sample them if you aren't a fan of spicy!

I will definitely be coming back here for more Mexican food, the staff is very nice and the food is delicious. You can tell that they take pride not only on their service, but their food as well. 2 thumbs up...

I was extremely impressed with the quality of food, the large portions and great customer service at Villanueva Mexican Grill. I ate also recently ate at Viva La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant not far from Villanueva Mexican Grill and ordered the same items at both restaurants. Well, I must say Viva La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant is absolutely no comparison to the better tasting food, as well as much larger portions given pat Villanueva Mexican Grill. In addition, I asked the counter person at Villanueva Mexican Grill for extra chips and without question filled a large bag of chips for me at no extra charge. When I ate at Viva La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant and asked for extra chips, I was told it would cost me a dollar extra and I said forget it! As I was leaving, I knew in my mind, it would be the last time I would be eating at Viva La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant. Villanueva Mexican Grill by far has the best Mexican Food I have found in Chatsworth and their portion sizes are out...

Villanueva’s Mexican Grill is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the warmest, friendliest two guys. Incredibly welcoming and full of energy, they truly make the experience special. Their kindness and positive vibes make every visit feel like you’re catching up with old friends.

The food is phenomenal with big portions. Nothing is overly greasy, and you leave feeling satisfied without being weighed down. Their breakfast burritos are an absolute must-try, but honestly, whether it’s lunch or dinner, everything on the menu hits the mark. It’s the perfect spot for a quick family meal or a relaxed dinner out.
