DIRTY DISTRICTDIRTY DISTRICT
I’m truly disappointed. After years of loyal patronage, I’ve reached my breaking point with the service and food quality. First off, the service was painfully slow. It felt like an eternity just to place an order, and when I finally got my pasta, I was met with an underwhelming, bland flavor that left much to be desired. It’s disheartening to see a place that used to be vibrant and flavorful turn into such a lackluster experience. To make matters worse, if you’re in the mood for a pizza slice, you’d better be prepared for a long wait. Watching everyone else enjoy their meals while you sit there waiting is not just frustrating; it’s downright awkward. By the time you finally get your slice, it feels like everyone else has already moved on to dessert! It’s really sad to see a place I used to love fall so far from grace. After years of enjoyable visits, I’ve officially decided that I won’t be coming back. There are plenty of other options out there that treat their customers better and serve food that actually has flavor. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere!

I got their spaghetti with meat sauce and garlic bread, just something simple to test out if they maintained the quality and taste. Thankfully, food tasted the same, even slightly better from when they temporarily did DoorDash after closing the old location. Had to get my favorite desserts: their tiramisu and flan. Both hit the spot I had been missing! I was in bliss knowing my childhood favorite is back. Parking is either on street (good amount when I went for a weekday dinner), or the back lot which is $2 with validation—the entrance is on Cloverdale. I opted for the back lot to avoid the busy street traffic and it was pretty empty. Also a big plus is they finally have their own restroom! I dreaded using it at the old location having to pay quarters and it being so dirty. Also love the new interior finishes. I think they cut the wall paintings from the old location and brought them over. Will be back again!

THEEE WORDS: QUANTITY OVER QUALITY. Parking: They have parking lot-only $2 with validation Metered street parking is $1 an hour ends at 8pm Food: The flavors are bland and mostly tomato based Worst lasagna I’ve ever had. Bland, overcooked noodles, a pile of mush. It takes them 15minutes to prepare. Garlic bread lacks fresh garlic and bread is cardboard texture If you are starving and on a budget then you will enjoy it. If you have loss of taste you will feel full and satisfied. Pastas are overcooked. Ordering food is cafeteria line up Pros: Ambiance -Italian themed decor, family style The salad is decent with ranch-like dressing Prices: affordable. Cheap family eats

Andre's Restaurante Authentic Italian Food Cash Only Spot!! $$ - No Frills Cozy sit down restaurant, nice atmosphere, clean, nice friendly staff, good portion sizes. Seating also available at the outdoor patio area. Oh yes the memories for me, been coming here since I was a kid, my Nonna worked here. Always good food, fresh homemade gravy, (Andre's red sauce), fresh pizza, fresh pasta, spaghetti, ravioli, tortellini, leg of lamb or shank, chicken parma, delicious meat lasagna, sausage and bell pepper, the shrimp, and baked chicken fall off the bone tender. Also the minestrone soup, and on Fridays the clam chowder soup, made in the back kitchen, the long lines of loyal customers waiting patiently, in lines outside the patio, garlic bread, and food smelling delicious as you could hardly wait in line to get in to eat. Waiting to go inside the glass door head down the line to the counter to pick up grab a tray request ur dish grab your silverware, napkins, soda, wine, beer, water etc. My favorite was soda minstronesoup, salad, lasagna, garlic bread, on tuesday, was lamb shank. Back then they did not have it now they do a gelato stand delicious ice cream. I still make time to eat here good food and a hell of a lot of good times family, friends, some great memories, shared seen and spent here over the years, even some actors ate here from time to time threw out the years. Wish I had my cell phone now for back then when I sat across Gene Hackman, and a lot of other celebs then that would visit and eat at Andre's. Until Andre's opened there other new restaurant in beverly hills and they all went there. After all its Hollywood fancy glitz and glamor rat pack style good ol times. I here Andre's has new owner but I'm told the original owner one of the brothers still runs the register and front of house and when they sold it kept all of there employees and loyal staff members along with it. One Very Smart Choice. Just glad to hear still open and running strong. If I am not mistaken, I think Andre's opened there doors and have been serving pizza and dishes since 1963. Enjoy this spot. Never thought I would ever do a review on a place that had a lot of good memories as a kid growing up over the years, and still would be open today. Just goes to show good owner great food, friendly staff, loyal customers, word of mouth goes a very long way. That is simply awsome. Thank you. Andre's for all the good meals and friendly service always over the years. Dedicated to my (Nonna) Miss...

I’ve been going to Andre’s for years they were located at 3rd St. and then they moved to this new location at Wilshire, and this is the first time I’ve had a bad experience with the service. To put it shortly, the service has gone down, in addition to the quality of the food, since they moved to Wilshire. I ordered to go from this place tonight and it wasn’t very busy in the beginning and then it became busy for dinner time. My order took so long to be made (before my order would not take more than an hour and the staff was very efficient and friendly), but this time around it did take much longer than usual and the crew was very slow and unfriendly. The Hispanic guy in the cashier area would take the orders of those who speaks Spanish first and he would speak Spanish to them throughout, while the rest of us non-Hispanics wait. He would also let them cut in line for things like extra bread, etc. He was busy taking care of them while the pizzas that I ordered were sitting on top of the oven (they were already done a while ago), I asked him about my order and he said that the other guy is working on it, in the meantime I was getting upset with the long wait, then this Hispanic lady told me to calm down, which made me more upset, and I told her to shut up, and we were going back and forth yelling at each other (I wasn’t even talking to her and she minded my business). Long story short I will never go back to this place again, because the staff does not treat their customers fairly, esp when their bosses are not around (I know their bosses from the years I’ve been going to 3rd St.) and it’s such a shame that this business that I’ve been frequented often before has...

NOTICE: CASH ONLY

Been coming here for over 15 years. A classic Italian restaurant with delicious large entrees for a reasonable price. Come here for lunch or dinner and you won't be disappointed. There are plenty of places to sit (indoor and outdoor) and if you need help, they have a friendly staff to aid you.

I usually get a large spaghetti, a salad and garlic bread. The salad is discounted to $1 if you get a large entree and every entree gets a garlic bread for free. Any additional bread is $0.25. You can get a half and half (spaghetti and ravioli) if you crave that. They're known for their meat sauce so make sure you try it. Huge portions, which you can of course get it togo-ed. Also they have a nice beverage where you can get authentic Cola with cane sugar.

When you're done eating, you can leave your plates and trays on the table, they usually have someone come around and pick it up. Tipping is not required.

Their chicken is alright and their rice is okay. Their pizza is pretty darn good too so if you're not feeling pasta go for the pizza!

TL;DR: (Small/Large) Spaghetti with meat sauce, salad and garlic bread. No tipping required. They clean up after you. Cash only. ~$20/2 people

Advice: Pretty popular spot so the lines may get long, but shouldn't be longer than 30 minutes to get your food - get here...
