BBQ+RICE West LA — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I don't know what everyone is raving about... I ordered a spicy mayo bowl and came to find... IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE(S) THEY POST IN THEIR MENU. Instead of neatly cooked chicken with a spicy mayo glaze, it turns out to be these fried chicken balls or something. Also, I don't think the portions are great.

The service was fine but since I was alone in the restaurant, the dude at the counter, his presence was... let's say distracting. I wanted to eat my meal in peace but it felt like someone was watching me and it is hard for me to eat while people watch me because it makes me feel self-conscious about my eating habits.

Lastly, the music is awful. If you are gunna play music, does it have to be so loud and annoying the customer feels the need to...

I’ve been coming to BBQ + Rice in West LA for a while now, and I seriously can’t get enough of it. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming—every time I walk in, they greet me with a smile and make me feel right at home. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back.

But the food is really what makes this place stand out. The BBQ is always super flavorful, tender, and juicy, and the rice is the perfect side to go with it. It’s one of those spots where everything tastes amazing, but the best part is that it’s all so affordable. You get great value for such delicious food!
